I found this sentence quite funny and since this is a war game forum I will put it here. No offense to the french just a good laugh.
"Going to war without France is like going deer hunting without an accordion. All you do is leave behind a lot of noisy baggage."

Very nice...
A idea, if one is still considering vehicle dropping stuff, is to simple have two 'weapon' keys set to the pilot and one drops a crate and the other a vehicle. However... I imagine that the team with the Chinook could just set it on the pad and be a vehicle factory, so the idea might not be wise.

The US Marines use the CH-46 Sea Knight. Smaller than the Chinook, with some very distinct qualities:Feuerwaffen wrote:ARMY?
Not Marines..

note that the Seaknight only has one forward landing gear, as opposed to the Chinook's two.

To my knowledge, a Seaknight isn't likely to be made for PR as creating a Chinook would give a helo to more than one faction, with some minor changes of course.
@billdan
The US Army also uses the Chinook, so I'd imagine it would be inlcuded for them too, if we could find an appropriate map for it.

Sadly, *sniff*, the Sea Knight is slated to be replaced by the V-22 Osprey/Flying Coffin.
Model it yourself then, Delta. The DEV team uses their resources to the highest extent, working on things that contribute most to the game and gameplay.
