I have taken the liberty of updating the PR F-18; flight physics, views and flares are updated, it no longer crashes servers and is kitted like the other faction multi-role fighters (4 sidewinders, 2 amraams, 2 paveways).
If the current Australian F/A-18 texture is viable, it now has a release-ready home.

I can also code up a light ground attack loadout (2 sidewinders, 4 unguided bombs, 2 mavericks) if you folks would like.

Get onto Tonnie if he is still around. S1avak who was texturing this hasn't been involved with the ADF faction for a fair while.

Doesn't the vBF2 F18 not have the bottom half of the cockpit? It's just... Not there.

Correct, the jet is also significantly scaled down from the real one.

I think that can be changed simply by modifying a few values in the code.

Unfortunately, not the case. Resizing the vehicle would require a re-export, and as this is a vanilla BF2 model our hands are tied there.
If someone wants to take on modelling the F/A-18E, then we won't have size problems.
Missing bottom of cockpit has been worked around (as we have long done with the MiG-29).
