Not really, if their flying away/towards you rather than across you and a constant speed it is reasonably easy to hit them. Not easy by any means but more than a worth a shot.

Im not argueing about the fact that I was shot down by a SRAW. Im argueing about the fact that it SHOULDNT be able to do that, (Firing straight up, over 600m, it's MAX RANGE)

All of these "AlQuida" RPG attacks are NOT for 600m in the air helis. Find me one, and you'll get my savings.

Its the HAT Distance that bothers me.

they may not be the same distance but RPGs arnt guided, they ark, and they are probably old RPGs from a stash somewhere in a bunker out in the desert, there are hundreds of variables that'll make their RPG's shot not go where the sights point not to mention most of them probably have defects of some sort to make one shell vary from the last, they've knocked a comercial courier jet out of the sky, i dont remember when, but it was delivering mail to the US marines and was heading home when it was hit by an RPG 5-10 minutes after take off at around 1000 ft alt.

gulf war, cruising speed Hueys shot down by AK fire...that one speaks for itself, it was taken down by small arms fire.

with practice and a little bit of luck a british long bowman could nail you between the eyes at 200 yards.

Is the 600m the max range of the weapon, or of the guidance? If its the latter, could the operator not lose guidance control of the missile after 600m and it effectively be a dumb munition after this point.

The SRAW can be fired unguided in RL anyways.
