also , the high poly model of the soviet statue was done in Zbrush , not in 3dmax

3ds max can do much of what Zbrush does actually.. sure it isnt as fancy looking and all but its paint deformation can be tweaked pretty good. I've manage to make some good stuff that way.

some one who has never used a normal / bump map before doesn't sound like someone who has worked on the Insurgency mod to me....

Look at the posts and find one that says i did 3d Modeling for Insurgency.
I was a Level Design and Sound Engineer, i learnt sound engineering there most of it is recording and converting to like .ogg etc but i can sill make them good quality. I have never used bump maps before, lots of the things i do are purely for portfolio, i dont do exporting from max to game i just make the model.. ive still got a long way to go as to how to do everything.

Are you interested in my help or would you rarther do it yourself and do your bump mapping yourself.. i am happy to learn but am getting fed up of this negative critisism...

That face in the signature is near perfect, and yet the stuff that has been posted seems very beginner'ish...

Anyways, why do you steal models and claim them for your own? what is the point? if you want to be a modeller, just admit you are newbie and people will help you. Saying your a pro and stealing other peoples work is not the way to go. I or any other team member never got here by faking work, we in fact put hard work into learning how to do the stuff we do now.

I ma not crossing any line, your the only one who is with claiming work you have not made to be yours.

So again, I will be civil and I will give you a chance and I might even point you in the right direction to actually learn how to model if you want but the way your going right now is going to get you no where.

so your turning on me? and it dosent say that face is mine. Its just a random 3d model face on the internet, probly made in mudbox. I have never used mudbox. Its just a sig. Made by my texture artist "Control.Silent_Assasin".

can somebody tell me strait to stay or go? seeing as it is highly unlikely that i could find the replica of that statue on turbosquid.

The reason I went to the german one is because i dont want to work on a "Norwegian Mod" I would get very bord. I achely went for Canadian first but that looked to close to being finished and the next was german.

I insist if you want me to leave i will leave if not i will post a mini portfolio for you all.

by having it as your sig and your name on it claims its your own, and you know that, why else would you put it there?

so ye, you stole the building in your first post you claimed to make in a day, if you made that in a day, this statue should be piss easy for you tbh...

How about anouther trial hu, this time a building if you are so unsure about doing dolphins etc... Apart from I do the floor plan on this one and you need to make it in under a day, and it will even be smaller and less complicated than your first, how dose that sound?

go for it... its simple with blueprints/drawings.

Nobody is saying you didnt attempt the statue, but it looks ****. Anyone with even a couple of weeks experience could do a better representation of that statue.

Its all a bit depressing really, and I find it hard to understand - I actually feel really sorry for you.
