Do you all wanna REALLY wanna know why .8 is taking so long?


The .8 version is completely done and ready for public play. It's because Project Reality has utterly and completely surpassed Battlefield 2 in sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many ways that it is legally no longer related in anyway to EA's "realistic" warfare game. So now the DEV's of this godly mod have to go through all the legal/financial **** and cramnation to officially make Project Reality it's own game first to avoid the government's wrath.

And that ladies and gentlemen is why .8 is taking so long .

Probably waiting for BF2 1.5 to come out, cause, like it or not, PR is based on that game. Though I would prefer to play .8 now on the 1.41 patch, than wait for 1.5 to come out

i don't think any pr players would patch to 1.5 if they already had 0.8 without checking for eventual problems. the pr team would release a small patch, don't think they'll make any huge changes in 1.5.

Why do people complain about these threads btw. If anything the dev's can see this as a compliment right? And to the non-devs. Its a free forum. You dont have to read these threads

DEVS! Dont forget that the CERN project in france will start big experiments in September. It could destroy the world. Would you want to die without ever displaying your glorious .8 work to the world?
