Lots of ditches to hide for infantry.
Big mountain ranges.
Have the flags far away, so there is a long transport route.
Not so much forest, but like forest that shielded off fields... Like a line of trees alon a stream, but like a really small stream. And all over the map.
Have places that are easy to ambush from. And also so that it is easy to fall back if ambushed.
So that long firefights are encouraged, for A10 backup or APC backup
Then 4 APC.

I would love a map that really gave flyboys their fun. Battle of Britain in BF1942 is a pretty good example. Two landmasses with very large airfields seperated by water Cappable points on each side with the focus being on airpower. Enough fixed and mobile AA to prevent baseraping. Light vehicles to traverse the airfields. A reasonably quick respawn on helis and jets. 5 mins? Only way to cross the water would be airlifts for either side.
No APC's to cross water in, maybe a couple of boats. Would be really cool to rescue downed pilots or crewman in open water.
Lots of dogfighting and aircraft savagery over the channel. Would be awesome to see multiple jets in a squad actually functioning as wingmen.
Could be -huge- geographically since open water is pretty resource minimal.
Heavy bleed for each side if a flag on their side gets capped.

16 choppers for USA... 32 AA's for MEC..
Meh.. just a great city, whit insurgency, building by building style.. whit plenty of tanks for USA and some Cobras..
