No, I mean heat waves on a hot day that make things on the horizon beyond a certain distance too fuzzy to make out.

Nice touch, adding the target building to it.

For those who can't see it, it is along the big road coming out of the main base (east one), on the right. The square with a whole in the center.

I so have to be a saw gunner. Just sit on the street next to a tree, waiting for insurgents to come running across that street...

Well, it had the hole in it in the original when it was made up of the individual housing pieces, but I didnt like the way the building looked. It was ok, and it was nice to have the courtyard, but I changed it to a nice big enterable building inside a walled compound. It'll basically be the same but better cuz you can land on the roof, go down the stairs into the building, etc. :)

Finally, a map that will incorporate the use of APCs (Armored personal carrier) and Infantry! And the Heli Transports make it just that much better. I can't wait to play this on Battle Arena. ;-)

so were complaining about fog? Check that under the "BF2 engine limits" dudes. The fog is just like any other map my friends, and the color looks fine to me.

Thank you for making this map. It looks most realistic. At least with my knowledge of this area of the world from movies and news.

I don't find any high hills on this map as far as I can see from available picture, so I guess I don't have to worry about Stryker mowing down every enemy using its heavy machine gun with high magnification camera from 400m away?

If those 4 story buildings are enterable and could use balcony its going to be so realistic.

So Insurgent get SVD and MANPADS?

INS get SVD and another treat. Well, INS get tons of treats as usual. :P

Not every building is enterable, I wasnt that amazing :P But I did try to make sure that key areas have enterables, and that every so far, there is an enterable. So its not amazing, but you DO have places nearby you can go in at most times.

Hills are gone. I had them for the longest time, but after Fuzz explained to me the EJOD effect I took them out and lowered them. :)

Its not an amazing map by any means, its just that its BIG. And big is good. :) Its really simple, but I really do enjoy its expansiveness :)

You can talk all you want, but I played the old beta months ago and I was already seriously impressed by the city layout. It's going to be an amazing map.

Big? Its not big, its frigging huge. I bet I'm going to need a gps navigator to guide me from east city to west or else i will get lost.

Yeah, Okita seems to think that his map will be mediocre at best, when in reality, I presume it will equal to .5 basrah on the "Map Epic-ness" scale

We'll have to take your word for it,still waiting for the files.............. :(
These "treats" that were mentioned - would that be a "long range" kind of treat ?

I think the treat he might be referring to is the Lee Enfield rifle that the Insurgent Scout kit gets.
