would the maps have to be changed? like needing more vehicles for transport?

I've made a YouTube bulletin advertising the petition. Plenty of people should see it, no bragging intended, I get a solid amount of viewers. For PR!

I have an idea for a YT video telling the public about this petition, but I'll no doubt be too lazy to make it.

Basis: Video shows views of Kashan 64's many vehicles, all of them unused. A lone crewman is on the scene.

Narrator makes comments on all the unused vehicles, and asks the crewman questions about increasing the player limit and vehicle usage with only 64 players. The crewman will nod or shake his head in answer to the questions.

After this, we see the crewman get in a Humvee, driving around the important parts of the map, showing how deserted things are. The narrator comments on this ipetition, showing information on the video. How to vote, why vote and where to vote to better the combined arms Battlefield experience.

Links will be provided in the video description on the side. A disclaimer saying this change won't change all of the vanilla gameplay, for the people who don't want their game "ruined". 114 nadespammers on Karkand's a bit of a nightmare, I can see how vBF2 players can be opposed to this. This would reassure them, I hope.

Signed as well. I don't think you guys realize that it isn't really a "simple change" at all, though. The extent of code changes that need to be made to accomodate more players spans is actually pretty massive, and spans from memory and network management to entity code to game logic.

And given EA's attitude towards their communities, this isn't happening anyway.

Actually it was possible to change the number of players with a simple hex-edit in the demo.
