On almost every map,coalition side has either lots of shiny toys or have new vehicles(tornado,harrier,huey,attack huey,scimitar,challenger,apache,stryker) or have their old vehicles redone(new blackhawk,betterprotected hmv etc.) while opposing forces have none or still have STOCK vehicles(mig,aircows,havocs,jeeps,APCs,tanks all are still stock bf2 vehicles).Devs are %80 of the time designing vehicles and air assets for coalition/nato forces and designing flyable stuff only/first for NATO.I think the reason behind that is there 4 opposing force factions, and 2 NATO factions,which means every asset of NATO is playable x2 times more than OF. assets.
Also since every boy in their life had at least once dreamed of being a pilot,and since PR is one of the few games with balanced realism,and giving te possibility of killing ground troops who are more then textured bots,and picking up/dropping real players in to hotzones(unlike in flight sims) people want to fly,even if they know they wont last more than 5 minutes in air.
Dont even wanna talk about insurgency,in which insurgents are supposed to get killed again and again and again,without RPs running to same cache over and over again but still expected to have fun while they were busy half of their playtime bleeding,because US team did not find the last 2 caches.
