Cheers guys, wasn't just me who put a hell of a lot of work into v0.85 so I'm not the only one you should be thanking for that but I just burnt out after the release, luckily not before for you guys :p

Planning on having anouther week or so off before coming back then its v0.9 time :)

Cheers again for all the kinda comments and offers of booze and hookers, just send them my way and I'm sure I'll find some use for them ;)

It make sense that one would head to rehab after all the hookers and blow.

Glad to hear you're taking precautions not to kill yourself with stress, cuz that would be a very bad thing indeed :(

Guys I dont know if this is true about Rhino but for me atleast, if I'm stressed out I go and do some mapping, it helps me take my mind off that and put it some where else. It clams me down and lets me just clear the mind. So Rhnio, keep mapping! :p

Yup, well what ever helps you out the most you should do, I haven't had the time or patience to really start mapping properly (probably because I haven't used things like L3DT or used any of the tuts more thouroghly).

Though I can relate, I'd do the same thing myself, I used to make maps for Marathon (Awesome game, BTW :p )

Yeah, I don´t map, but once you know some things it is relaxing to just put on some music and make some stuff.

well things like L3DT are a bad example as they are only tools to help you speed your work up and give a better quality finish for the end result but in the early stages of learning how to map you should not even consider them unless you know how to use them. But ye, going though tuts is more what ya need to do :p

My BFP2 map is just something for fun, nice easy, non-serious map :p

So tell us the scores George Dawes?

You coming back?

It's quite handy having a Lead Developer who actually engages with the modding community and gives them (us) some direction. I think it gives a lot of people encouragement to continue (or even to start), actually knowing there is someone significant who takes an interest in their work. Not to mention all the technical help and advice you give. I'm not saying I agree with everything you say or even sometimes the way you say it (heavens forbid) but if we all walked around telling each other our shit didn't stink we'd be up to our eye balls in excrement. Anyway I hope you come back soon tags an' all.
