ahh thats odd. I'll go through and check that out now. Also to whoever it was who made the comment about the weapons, all the weapons listed on the design plan are used by the NZDF

i will do. At the moment that is really brief. Still a lot of detail being sorted internally. What sort of stuff should i add?

The brit one is just too see what it looked like. I am going to try the US models aswell. Personally i think the british stuff suits the kiwis best.

Edit: when we make our own kit geoms i don't plan on having helmets... They just don't fit in with being a kiwi haha. We will be using the Brit player model though. Squaddie09 is making new player models for the Brits so the NZDF (in true NZ hand-me-down fashion) will use the old models if we are allowed. We will however make new kit geoms.

Here is a little Reskin i did for the US Heavy Soldier. Yet to do a kit reskin for the soldier though.

looks great. however, I have a thought... most of the places you guys have listed as the NZ army have gone to were not actually the army but the SAS... Why don't you make a NZSAS faction instead? Looks like you've already put work into it but it's just a thought.

I assure you a lot of research has gone into the current deployments of NZDF troops. The places listed, while the NZSAS may have been there, are the locations of NZDF Regular forces deployment. We have several ex and current NZDF soldiers advising on this.

As for creating an NZSAS faction, it is not possible at the moment. PR does not want to have a special forces faction or mod because it does not fit in with the mod. Special Forces allow people to lone wolf and that isn't what PR is about. As much as i would love to see the NZSAS in PR it's not gonna happen.


We may reflect the NZSAS in our sniper kit texture.

k, thanks for the feedback. I was thinking about full squad kind of special forces thing but I guess it wouldn't work well with PR...

Just a little update on progress...

As of now the following is completed:
- Reskin of US Soldiers
- Reskin of US kits
- Reskin of Landrover
- Reskin of Landrover Support
- Model of Kiwibase static is complete
- Bamyan Map
- Majority of static placement done
- Overgrowth fields done
- Terrain done
- Textures done
- Roads done
- Overgrowth is 50%
- Undergrowth is 30%
- GPO are not complete yet

Hehe. And most of the people saying its too much like the ADF, well, you have your own faction for your country. We're just trying to do the same thing. No, our defence force isn't huge, at all, but.. We're awesome!
