I'm not a big fan of too many people in a tank. Yes, with teamwork it can be done. But for the most part they will b parked somewhere, the driver switched to the gunner and it's a stationary weapon from there on out.
I suppose the gun position could be locked unless there is someone in the driver's spot. But IMO having tank crews puts Reality over gameplay. But what do I know?

yeah solos got a good idea there, if youre going to be a 1 man tank, youre going to pay the price.

I can only see something like this working at lan.
it would be chaos trying to have that teamwork online.

A two-man tank with a driving commander and a gunner would work, but as I said, the commander would have to have an efficient method of pointing out targets.
The DCR commander's overlay is just annoying, is visible from the outside of the tank and usually in the game just leads to the gunner following the overlay eventhough the commander is just looking around and not pointing out targets.
The commander would have to have an ability to bring the gunner's view to bear the target, or that the gunner would get a marker on his hud (like the commander's "attack here" -markers) pointing out the target. The commander should also be in control of the .50cal

So basically, a two man squad with the squad leader on the 50 cal?
