[BF2] Battlefield 2 Patch 1.50 Beta Released - Total Gaming Network

FEATURES
- Additional support for Windows Vista.
- Added Highway Tampa as a required map.
- Added a new map called Operation Blue Pearl.
GAMEPLAY TWEAKS
- Changes made to both the J10 and F35B to make them more balanced. Please note that the J10 is a superior dogfighter to the F35B and as such these two aircraft will never be equally matched.
- AA targeting tweaked to make it more effective.
- Added checks to prevent "runway grieving".
- Various changes made to prevent cheating.
- Tweaked the hit detection, hits will be more accurate to the model.

So should we not install this patch if we want to continue to play PR? By installing 1.5 wont it prevent us from playing pr servers that are still at 1.41?

I wouldn't install 1.5 yet. https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f10-pr ... ad-me.html You can download it if you want. But this is beta 1.5. You may want to wait for the final 1.5, if you don't want to download 1.3 gbs and download some more later.

Been out on Battle.no for some days, seems like battle.no or some of its affiliates was heavily in the production of v1.5

This new patch is getting quite some attention at BF2s forums. Some odd stuff and people playing it for the first time are turning up.

Any mapping beginner will do better.

So are you saying 1.5 patch will make it easier to "DO A BARREL ROLL!"

Falcon is the machine you see in the picture in the Lower right corner of that screen, It records all axis of movement from your hands, and has a trigger, so you will get a more "Real" feeling.

Come on. It may be a shit map but that is pretty darn smart.

You need that gizmo to take advantage. And that's pretty awesome, if you ask me. That answers the Falcon question.

FLIR support would be really nice of them in the final or a future patch.
