During the week, its not yet passworded, but non-mumblers are quickly kicked, as the server soon fills up with mumblers. Very soon, mumble will be compulsory 24/7.

The idea behind the server is teamwork, so although Mumble is talked about a lot, in relation to the server, its actually just a part of the teamwork idea.

The thing I love most about RT is that, for example, a cobra squad can leave a heli on the carrier for as long as they like, and no-one else will take it

yes, RT does attract a lot of good players, a couple of morons like any other server (even if they are on mumble) but I see very very few arguements/requests for admin.

Thats pretty naive imo. It is like saying dont use HAT against infantry and similar things...
And if the server providers really dont want mumble to be used against enemies then there should simply two channels - one for each time and problem solved...

no1 is saying that, everyone is on an equal footing with the current settings

But I already thought that most people agree with the current settings - otherwise there would be 2 channels already

in till mumble can auto swap you, two channels isnt really practical. not every one can alt tab mid game to change to there team channels.

I don't say that you shouldn't use it against the enemy but that you shouldn't be disadvantaged if you use it. Without vanilla VOIP, you'll have to use mumble.

I had an epic round on this server with other mumbelers on, we had 2 squads, and 3 landies, we were on basrah as british, we fought like tigers, in a line, 15 m apart, 50 going off, infantry around the landies, slowly moving up towards the cache area.

Then on Fallujah as American, i had 2 squads, and 2 hummwes, we spotted a cache ontop of a red container, 12 men, 2 ARs, 2 50s open up at the same time... Twas epic, although we didnt hit the cache, but we killed some insurgents
Cache went down during our assault.

So, mumble + RT = win!

Only possible for you Wicca as he had such excellent SM's especially the AR fire support!
The realism and light hearted abuse on Mumble does = top gameplay!

You forgot the classic...while rearming/repairing/planning at main Wicca has the bright idea of making us all stand in a line together with the humvees nearby...one little red estate car turns up and ... BOOM!

Well consider this! Me and the other Squadleader was the only casuality, and it wasnt the explosion, it was the truck "remains" that moved us down.

And comon! U enjoyed standing in a line didnt you!

I know how wicca loves his main base mumble pep talks, so I waited outside until I could hear him chatting - if it wasnt for that damn logi truck then it would have been epic! Half your team was stood there in a crowd!

I did think a few minutes before you showed up what if? but I didn't say or do anything about it. Thank God/Allah the truck was in the way.
You guys put up an excellent fight...tis perhaps a factor in the PR Mumble server - a higher level of gameplay, even with our excellent tactics from Wicca it was not an easy battle.
The insurgents were very patient and I have never seen so many mines, we were obliged to stay off road and drive slowly.
Aswell you guys were not hanging about the Cache's, something that always seems to happen on the standard Public servers.
