the kalashnikov series also has a few techniques where you use the sling to support the rifle and gain accuracy.
Very true, adapt and survive, I'm pretty sure that you wont get slapped on the wrist for doing something which saves your squad.

Walking forever across the map
made a few live tests on maps like kashan, koselsk, fools road and quinling and found out following reoccourance:

Oh please.., while it may or may not be possible..., how many soldiers do you know would be willing/allowed to do this in the middle of a firefight! Plus i still bet it itsnt laser accurate over long distance like it is in PR.
I SPENT 4 YEARS IN THE MARINES, I KNOW MARINES WHO MAN THE 240 WHO HAVE DONE IT
DONT INSULT ME AGAIN

every rifle with any kind of rope/sling attached to it can be used to increase accuracy in one way or another

Well thats just because those APC squads have to communicate which sometimes produces alot of chatter. Now imagine infantry in the same squad ... you won't be able to talk to your squad at times.
As for the name, they are also called IFV. Infantry fighting vehicle their role is to provide firesupport for the infantry not exclusivly transport.

The crew often try to deny enem movement on certain area. Thats a totally normal and RL based tactic.

I agree. Sometimes really unskilled players take the sniper kit to die in CQB and lose the kit to the enemy but there is just no solution for this and you should not generalize that. There are some very very decent snipers out there doing a good job with that kit.
@ GDICommand
A lot of people have never shot any weapons or the respective weapon they are talking about ... I for myself have never shot the M249 neither the M240 so I can't judge but I have shot precision rifles quite often and always wonder what the sources of some people are.
