I think the server should be pw'd 24/7, I know I found that idea 'elitist' months ago when Space first posted his idea about a server like this, but it would really solve the issue of random pubs joining the server then getting kicked for not being on Mumble and losing tickets for the team and would filter out the lower waves of random asshats, because in order to ruin everyone's day they would actually have to make the effort of joining the Mumble server.
The last round of Muttrah I played on RT, loads of players on the USMC team who joined to fly "teh choppaz" got kicked repeatedly and so much that someone on the MEC team made a joke that they'll win due every other person on the US team being kicked. Seriously.

As individuals or as a server provider? We don't have a hierarchy, so no one's "in charge", but we truly value and respect everyone's opinion and feedback, so if you have any comments or complaints you can post them in the server feedback forum (Server Feedback - Reality Teamwork for the EU server)

We pay alot of attention to all comments and feedback, so any you can give (whether it's something you find that's a positive attribute to our servers or something that needs work or constructive criticism), then we'd love to hear it.

I was there, too. was a pretty fail round on the USMC's part, to the point that my squad alone had a 9-0 KDR. IMO, the small sniper squad up in the hills behind us was probably the most efficient thing the US could chuck at us :?

I'm thinking a 24/7 passworded server would work as well, in all honesty, considering the fact that I've often been looking through mumble and seeing 80-90 people in our channel :p

Shame I got send over to the website cause I knew the RR's would get involved like this. And it gives me the whole idea of censoring as a bonus but hey... They were doing this on the server as well, so I wanted to just have say here without getting them all over me. Suppose its dealth with now. Surprised to find a [RT] guy explain the rules like that ("against" the RR guys) so +1 for that.

EDIT:
Yea password seemed to help a lot yesterday. We all started out on the US server but there where so many numbnuts out there shouting allah and messing around :P that I couldnt have my fun game. I dont mind screwing around everynow and than, but I had my mind set on a cool game of PR, not a messing around one. Than we moved over to the EU server and the games where nicer.

Yeah, this week there has been an unfortunate shift to 'lets bugger around' instead of playing;

e.g. singing and jumping around laughing at the novelty of mumble where the rest of the team is outnumbered 3:1 at the flag desperately asking for help on SL coms.

e.g. on muttrah there were 3 squads (not full, but 3 squads nontheless) on the carrier. With a air squad active, the USMC NEED to have all their guys on the land otherwise the MEC effectively have an numberical superiority on the ground...the result was getting pwned.

next time I'll just give their names to the admins and they can !k play or leave as RT admins are good at removing those who are not acting for the team.

My favourite server. The password definetly helps and the round on Jabal a few nights ago was epic.

At 1:28 or something i made the squad "CAS Huey2" since there was another Huey squad with 6 people in it (!). I spawned, got to the chopper and started waiting for the warmup time. Then all of a sudden i got kicked for "I told you to get out".

Don't you think that its a bit childish to kick people for assets...?
I saw a guy from TT doing that...

We have now launched a 3rd server. The new EU based server allows us to have an AAS and an Insurgency server based in the EU. The US server will continue to run mixed maps. The RT servers are now as follows :

Server Locations:

Europe: Paris, France (64 Slot) Insurgency Only

Image

Europe : Gunzenhausen, Germany (64 Slot) AAS Only

Image

North America: Virginia, USA (64 Slot)

If you need an admin ingame, then please join our X-Fire group, and send a pm ( They have "RT Admin" after their name )

Click Here to join the Reality Teamwork X-Fire Group

We are also actively seeking "resident clans" for our US server, so if you are looking for a high quality, teamwork oriented server based in the US, then please get in touch and we will see what we can do to help you ;)

But it will be 100% insurgency on the French server (and you should get a similar ping to both servers ). Personally I prefer mixed maps too, but many in the RT community either love or hate Insurgency ( they mainly hate insurgency! ).

We have also been regularly getting 90+ people in our EU mumble channel, so the new server gives extra capacity, so that all players can enjoy playing on the Reality teamwork servers :)

I'm not really bothered to jump from one server to another to play 1 or 2 maps and then jump back on AAS, also this brings problem with server seeding, according to your words many hate ins> I doubt they will seed ins server then
look even at US server, I seen full like 2 or 3 times
in short, I'm sceptical about future of INS server and disagree with complete(it was like one ins for 5 aas, not many at all) removing of INS from german server, but let's see how it goes
as for ping, if it lower than 200 its ok, I never understood "OMG, our ping is too high too play" and its about 50-70 :-D

We'll see how it goes - we definitely needed a second EU server, and alot of people were complaining about Insurgency maps on the first EU server. Several US servers that are insurgency only, seem to be very successful.

If things dont work out, then maybe we will try a mixed map server, and an AAS only server.

I think it should work out okay, UKWF insurgency and chicago insurgency do alright. However I would also like the idea of mixed gamemode plus AAS only EU servers. Tough call.

Nice one on getting a 3rd server up anyway.

The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

Is there any way to have it so people already in squads don't get team switched by the server? because I was in the server today along with several squad mates such as Jigsaw and when i gave up after being killed I was switched. Anyway to stop this?
