I'm loving the feel of this map. I think that the grass texture should be swapped for a snow texture. The map reminds me of Shadow Moses from MGS4 haha. There are tut's by one of the EOD Dev's on the bfeditor forums about how to make snow. Take a look at it :) Mapping for Intermediate users (snow included) tutorial. Having a snow environment will be a totally new environment for PR and i believe that people will support you in this because its something new. Anyway i say give it a go in snow but save a copy of the original. I've done snow before as a trial so if u need any help PM me ;)

No, the terrain is really great. But wouldnt it be darker with a sky like that? (except you add those mentioned polar lights :-P )

dont forget snow is white even if the night is really dark if there is a moon or any other light the snow will be white ;D thats physics isnt it ?

just a small thought ;) why dont you make a texture with small pixels the rest alpha and then enable the envmap box in the texture settings ? to give the snow some glitter ;)

Obviously the files isnt there just use google "code/bf2/rendDX9/textureAtlas/textureatlas.cpp" and there is someone from what I can see with the same failures.

I found something like this:

When you save all on your map do NOT check everybox - let it default.

Pack you map using mod>package mod - er something to that effect

Dont know what it means but I think its what you are gonna save when you save your map or pack it.
