Amaazing Detail
because its a 3dsmax render with v-ray, Will it look exactly like that in PR or will it get toned down a bit before being put in game?
If it will look like that in the game, I'm sure this is like the best model ever

I liked the HK21... but I like this one better.
Can't wait to see how it handles ingame, in every other WWII games (MG42) it always end up being an innacurate spraying machine with no stopping power.
Looking forward to .9

did you played the new FH2 ? v2.1 ? Normandy ? they have a pretty MG42 with a sound which is nearly similar to the MG3 sound

SWEET! However, I will miss my beloved HK21E; many happy times in the trench with that thing. The real pity is that the HK31E looks more like the G3 than the new MG3.
Amok@ndy, im Englischen ist Schulterstütze genannt "butt stock".

Nah, it should be somewhere on that picture
The real name is "Verschlusssperre". It means something like roller lock, im not that much of a weapon expert to give an exact name or function.
But that roller lock in the MG3 is heavier than the one in the MG42 and that extra weight reduces the cadence.
E: Hm someone else said there is now a spring in the MG3 where the MG42 had a pin and that spring somehow catches the kinetic energy....whatever im totally confused now

the so called natobremse is a RPM-Limiter since the MG42 just had a too high rate of fire
