people need to play al kufrah oilfields more...

As stated earlier, the only maps that really fill a server are the intense infantry maps with CQB like Muttrah 2, Asad Khal...Which is why they crop up a lot.

A server cannot start on Kashan for example, it'll literally not take off. Not to mention QinLing which is a awesome map but no-one wants to start with it cause it doesn't draw ppl. I'm thinking of setting up a session to start with QinLing and 10 startup players just to prove the point - I hope I'm wrong.

doesn't it need a VD upgrade to have tanks on it?

Though I'd love to see tanks + APCs on the map again, though APCs vs APCs has its moments.

I think what we're all trying to say here is; your map sucks Rhino and all the time you spent on it was just a waste.



But srsly, waaaaay overplayed. Needz moar Tad Sae.

I enjoy Muttrah occasionally. I would rate the map above avarage in comparison with other PR maps, but it just feels like every third round or so that I play is Muttrah. It becomes boring.

At the moment I love all Russia vs. Chechen maps.

i love muttrah. i've played it no end of times, and i still love it haha

Choice of maps should evolve naturally over time, in the end you choose what you want to play, in this way the server will know when a favourite maps popularity begins to wane.

I can't say that I'd vote for Al Kufrah

Ask anyone who plays PR with me, I refuse to play Muttrah. =] Truth is, its boring and its overplayed. The only time I'll get on, is if I have a decent sniper with me and I'm on the USMC, and can deploy and do some Sniper/Spotter action on the rooftops, picking off MEC Troops as they rush in.

Fook yeah man, Tad Sae, one of better mas...could have a bit of detail enhancement here and there, maybe some new jungle statics or something...but its ace map, feels like 'Nam, thats why i like it

Tad Sae just needs its flags rejiggled and it would be win, I made a night version ages ago with the flag arrangement that I would prefer, I'll dig it up and PM it to fuzz to see if he likes it (it also features the chinese 50cal APC )

I think we all go through phases with PR, infantry, urban, jungle or having an asset period!

ATM I am having a pub server moment going to servers and seeing how it works out, meeting new people, its sometimes frustating to form a squad and only 1 or 2 use VOIP.

If you don't want to play Muttrah.....don't!

However when was the last time you saw Muttrah played well with SL Mumble and teamwide co ordination, now thats rare!

How could anyone hate Muttrah? It's so urban and its scenic.

Although seeing the same mosque on other maps gets to you after a while :/

Alkufrah .. road to some china name and ... jabal must GO!! lol my opinion ahah .... there like the akward kid in class that no one wants to sit next to ahah ...

No more MUTTRAH!

Muttrah is really pain when MEC gets BTR-60 to good defensive position. It dominates all choppers and other APC:s.
