The removal of Tad Sae and OGT really blows, those maps were very unique and fun.
I woulda rather they had removed Muttrah.

Mestia was never as much fun once they redid how the cap flags were, when they were small and localized it made for some intense CQB in a non urban setting. It seemed to me be an integral part of the militia maps.
EJOD was fun..... only in skirmish mode. We would often prime our server with the skirmish mode and folks liked it a lot.

OMG! These changes have ruined the mod, even though I havent played it yet!
Personally, I will miss Mestia, it could have been tweaked a little bit, moved mainbases, adjusted cap radius etc.. But it was a map you often saw when browsing the server list. And if teams where somewhat even, it could last over 1,5 hours.
The other maps on the list I wont miss, (except the loading music Bi Ming had about 2 years ago, it was awesome:lol , 4 of the 9 maps where cut in half by a river, making the fights predictable and boring . In the end I hope that most maps, specially AAS, in PR will be 4km maps with infantry in coordination with air and ground vehicles. This is my opinion, and others will disagree with that from what I've read in this thread.

I just hope some takes a file to Korengal and smooths down those shitastic excuses for mountains. Seriously, its like walking on top of meter-high pyramids that are coated in crisco. Other than that, I'm glad that map isn't getting the axe, but that issue is pretty big IMO.

Its suppose to be that way, the whole "the earth is smooth" is just not what the areas about. If the map was smoothed out it would play crappy because anyone could go anywhere with out any movement penalize....boring in my book. Sure the triangles look stupid but the engine looks stupid. Mestia RIP... she was my first PR map! I tked twice in two minutes and then stopped firing my weapon the rest of the round. Those were magical times.
