99% that there are no differences

I mostly play as insurgent so my fave weaps has automatically become the following:

Arty IED (the thrill of the kill)
AK 74 (seems to be more accurate than 47)
RPG (i never miss an rpg)

my current favorite is either the M16 or M4, but it's gotta have an AIMPOINT. The ACOG scope annoys me, iron sights are better than ACOG but still not as good as red dot sight.

Insurgents are less accuracte from what i remember a while back(in general) to represent their untrained status on contrast to trained soldiers.

Top Rifles:
1.AK47 Iron Sight, hard to beat up close, power, lowish rof, decent at range
2.M16 Series (FULL AUTO) iron sights, great rof low recoil, great up close, good at range
4.G3 Scoped Variant
5. Lee Enfield, scoped sniper rifle

Hate the red dots, they block too much view when aiming down sight, scoped guns are generally pretty meh as i like to assualt (special exception for G3 because i <3 it), iron sights ftw

Top LMG's
1. PKM 'Scoped' -great firepower with the heavy round, good range too, deadly stuff
2. M249 Iron Sight -Insane ROF/Capacity/low recoil cleans house in close-combat, i missed the iron sight m249 ever since it was replaced

Most any shotgun with buckshot, they are amazing, love em. And the skorpion is pure awesome still.

Used to hate the American rifles. They feel so weak and farty compared to the powerful AKs and the allmighty G3!

But, I've learned to use them properly. They may feel weak, with their pathetic sound and lack of Ramoesc full-auto feature, but they are very deadly. It's much easier to conserve ammo with an M16 or M4, and in the kind of combat that is standard in PR full-auto ain't very useful. Also, the AimPoint is just wonderful - must easier to use than the ironsights of G3s, QBZs and AKs.

So, favourite rifles are the M16A4 and M4 (A1?).

A gun that deserves a mention, though, just because of it's pure awesomeness, is the PPSh-41. Long livet the Red Army!

Exactly! Hardly using scoped rifles now, a tru ninja can *almost* always get up close to his enemy where nab scopes are useless!

My fav assault rifle would be AK74 / AK47 bcuz it's ironsight doesnt block ur screen at all, and its just full of win in CQB!
Least favorite would be M4/M16a4 bcuz of the annoying burst mode, a tru pro ninja can always stay on auto and use it to fire bursts, singles and.... auto, while burst is only... burst.

A true ninja only uses the Mp5 and ak74u (ak74u owns at CQB) xD
but my favorite gun is the TAR21 i just love it

Ah yea, AK74u is also good, high rate of fire and low recoil, tho I havent had the chance to try it on players, and I think the recoil on MP5 is much higher now.
TAR-21 Is the sexiest rifle on earth, but in PR the M16A1 is so ridiculously damn good that it makes the TAR feel "wrong" for me.

My current favourite weapon seems to be the M4 Aimpoint, I do very well with it atm.

.87 = G3 ironsights but due to the deviation changes, I love all the M4/M16-weapons with an aimpoint.

I've shot both weapons, and we don't use hollow points in the military. So our rounds make itty bitty holes compared to those tiny holes. Yes, they do some damage, and they are quite possible to kill in one shot also.

The problem is that the enemy we fight is usually strung up on drugs, so that little 5.56MM feels like a prick to them. Where as a 7.62MM is going to hit, and REALLY hurt, and cause some serious damage internally.

Now whether it's a 7.62x49 or a 7.62x54, I don't give a shit, because I'll take it over the 5.56.

G3 ironsighted tends to dominate on almost every map, on Insurgency it will absolutely destroy anything at medium range.

I tried out the full auto M4 that Hamas gets and love it. Very little recoil + full auto + good sights = killed 5 guys in 30 seconds one day.
