Nowhere near the solid case they had before, but it is at least something worthy of mention, whether or not we actually do anything as a result [not gonna ask companies to never include terrorists because they might be used by real terrorists, for example]

iz a joke. I even made a suggestion to include the Vietnam era in the mod some time ago, so that makes me a sad panda. I think I am gonna load up Vietcong, or try to find Men of valor vietnam, which are both over 5 years old. Why is the Vietnamtheme so unpopular in the computergame world

Is this PR V for real? If it is real, it looks so unrefined.
Vietnam side don't have enough weapon variety, Uniform looks strange, Chinese soldier, Way too much armors for NVA, US Jet flying slow and low, unreal low level bombing, and most of all vietnam war isn't about Conventional Warfare. Its more similar to Insurgency.
I mean I can't name them all of how unrefined the details in trailer looked. It reminded me of BF Vietnam.

p.s. - If its real I want to apologize in advance for my way of describing PR V. There is just too much gap between PR and PR V.

Sangin Valley wasn't a fake map, it was a map that barely got off the ground just yet and suggesting an open beta was quite ridiculous

and this is why i dont trust men above 30 to monitor something they've never touched before. leave the internet to the kids, we'll monitor it for you.

Is Project Reality: Vietnam a hoax or is it actually in production? Lets get some more detailed answers instead of 's or smilies or whatever.


I'd also like to wonder WHY the DEV's started making Vietnam. There's only a few nations involved.. and your pretty limited unlike PR. Why would you make another PR with the same engine that DEV's have said over and over again that is so limited?

I sure hope that is not going to be the result of failing specialists. But in the case of Bf2 the mods raised the sales rate alot considering it´s such an old game.

PR Vietnam seems like the April Fools joke to me. The whole team works on PR: ArmA2 and PR: BF2 v0.91 and here, all of a sudden PR Vietnam is announced on April 1st. Although it can be real, it is very much suspicious, since I don't see how is that PR team wouldn't fool everybody like they have done over the past couple of years
