Great to hear. It might be an idea for us all to start publicising this. Also could you create the signature thing again like you did when 0.3 was coming out so we can have it on all the other forums we might frequent.

Maybe a big ad on this sites homepage might also be a good idea.

Could you please post a pre-announcement at http://www.totalbf2.com?
It would really help to get some more "press" on this mod as the number of actively played servers is getting low lately. :)

Can't wait for .4!!!! :)

So long as we get an L85A2 and not an A1... I don't want my gun jamming after firing only 1 clip lol
Brits were bumming M16s off Americans and C7A2s off Canadians in the early portions of the Afghan conflict because the British L85A1s were shite in mountain conditions and their A2s hadnt come in for all the units yet lol

Yeah, I know. People might actually have to start using a few unknown things. Such as Teamwork, Tactics and Skills!

In Australia (i.e. where I am), 11th of the 11th is Remembrance Day,
undoubtedly because 11th of the 11th is Armistice Day from WW1...
the 11th hour of the 11th day of the eleventh month being the enaction
of the treaty...

Is the release of 0.4 tied to this or just pure happenchance ?

thought it was a hell of a coincidence

Yup it is tied to it. Also November 11th is remembrance day in Canada, and veterans day in the states.

Let's hope that before running off to boot up the mod some will take a moment to pay respect to those of all nationalities that have died in the course of trying to make the world a better place. Perhaps one day we will see war only in the virtual world, and it will become more fiction than fact.

Having said that, can't wait for the mod, thanks for all the hard work guys!

It's great new's to hear about the imminent release of 0.40, I haven't been this excited about a mod update for year's. I can't wait to see what you guy's have come up with. Of all the mod's that I have played for Battlefield 2 this is the only mod that comes close to that gritty level of realism that I alway's long for in my games. Ever since the day's of Operation Flashpoint & Resistance i've alway's felt extremely dissapointed with most of the the other FPS wargames that have followed, they all seem to have steered away from realism in favour of arcade action style gameplay, which may be fine for younger player's but for people of my age i'm alway's looking for something much more realistic and challenging. Project Reality just feel's so much better when compared to the other mod's that I have played. The increased realism add's so much more tension to the game. When I see other people actually ducking and taking cover to avoid bullet's instead of jumping around like a bunch of crazed rabbit's on coke, it's a much more enjoyable and immersive gaming experience.

Thank's for all of your effort's, I can't wait for 0.40

Cheers :)
