Heheh, that's me at 2:30 in the vid, surpressing some taliban who had been building there hideout pretty much next to our FOB. They whiped us out there :p

I enjoyed the beta test, and i imagine it would be even more enjoyable with a full server. I like the map alot; the mountains give it a sense of hugeness which i really like and the views from them and from the valleys are stunning. From my experience while playing the map (only one game during the test event night) i'd say it might benefit from a few bigger villages, like the bottom one, just to make for some more interesting objectives. Then again like i said i've only played it once and haven't really seen a quarter of the map, so these views are sketchy at best. ;)

Overall i can see this map being alot of fun, letting the taliban make the most of their hit and run tactics (as seen in the beta test night video) and using the mountains with their terrain cover and trees to hide and to draw the enemy into close quarters combat, while the Brits really have to effectively use their armor and helicopters for transportation and fire support.

That map is awsome!
i was the Apache gunner and i just shot at a self-given marker without spotter and im surprised, that i was hitting that perfect!

im looking forward to the map getting out of WIP-status and being playable in real game!

is this supposed to work in insurgency? i tried loading it on a local server, but it crashed when i tried to join

yeah its supposed to work on insurgency i just heard of 2-3 guys crashing while loading but without an error log i cant do anything because its workin fine for me

It's funny, people ask for more detail, and they complain about lag. When it's optimized well for a 4x4km map and realistically portrayed, they complain about lack of detail.


Remember, not everywhere in the world is supposed to look glamorous and beautiful. Sometimes beauty isn't skin deep. The gameplay on this map is amazing, and it almost forces teamwork with convoys and such because of the huuuge range.

i downloaded it from both links, and it crashed every time i clicked "join a squad" to leave the briefing room/loading screen. it sucks, because it looks like an awesome map and i really want to play it :)

fraid not andy, I guess a tester should try loading the map with that same video.con
