It has. The Makarov PM is no longer the primary sidearm of the Russian Ground Forces.

I think what samogon means to say is that the MP-443 has replaced it officially, but down to brass tax the Makarov is still used and issued.
Just like how there are still some wooden AK-74's floating around in the South Ossetia pictures.

Makarov is still main sidearm in Russian armed forces.
6P35 "Grach" didn't replace PM even in official way.

I *believe* the stock is wrong for the wooden version. I guess that style of stock is only in the version with synthetic furniture.

In some of those pictures the wooden stock appears to be somewhat filled in but in others it is more open as per the model. Either way it's a pretty minor aesthetic factor tbh and not really worth the effort of making a completely different stock.
