Re: Wanda Shan 0.95 Feedback
Its a better solution than whats currently happening, and you actually can't see over the village enough to shoot enemies coming from their spawn. You could always paint OOB areas on the hills to the N-S to funnel infantry into the village to encourage combat there.
Moving the layer to a random spot of forest so we can fight over Objective #455156 when there is a perfectly valid alternative available isn't going to please many people.
This is all my own opinion, however alot of people agree with me, namely Psyrus, who hate fighting over random patches of grass/forest which have little if any tactical worth. But its your map, if you think that forest is a better alternative, by all means do so.

Alright, but could you please draw me the layout you propose, I know it's west-east, but where do you imagine the flags should be, because that's my concern (there's a lot of open space and if I put the flags in the nearest west/east forest, it's above the village)

Morphed together, these are the two spawns.

Chinese spawn:

The rice patties give ample cover when moving in (after spawning behind the two houses) which put you below the village's horizon, unable to be shot by the Russians.
Russian spawn:

Ideally, painting on more of the those thick trees which leaves grow from the bottom of the trunk would help for more cover, or simply lowering the terrain so its horizontal or below the village.
You could even put the spawns much further away from the village along the roads, but nobody wants to run 500m to get to the flag like on Qinling skirmish.

Put some troop transport on the map. I see no reason why either team can't have one. When chopper crashes and APC's are in the field you either spawn at main and wait or spawn at a firebase and walk for 10 minutes, not fun map at all. 4km maps should be plentiful when it comes to transport and this map is not. I appreciate all the work that went into making it, the scenery is beautiful but the way it stands, this map is not for me.

I've never had a single problem at all with this map(except for the occasional lag spike that happens on every map every now and then). So I guess I'm Chuck Noris too!
I really love this map! Its one of my favorites!

Re: Wanda Shan 0.95 Feedback
the two times I played it it was fine (even on a server that was 300 ping for me)
I enjoyed it very much and i loved comming up behind an enemy tank as chineese and having another one friendly fire miss us and hit him. only to get HAT'd 2 secs later as my apc takes down a firebase.
Good map!
now to fix korengal back to its not laggy state gooo!!!!

Is it joke that this map is removed for next release?

We were a mechanized infantry squad (me, jaymz, atlantafalcons, sillysavage, couple others) and we did patrols and ambushes and planned attacks, was all really sweet and we only got a few deaths in our squad before I had to go.
Really love it, its proof that 4km forest maps are possible and extremely fun!!
performance wise i noticed the server having some hiccups, nothing extraordinary but it was chugging a bit.

Well hopefully we get a decent 4km map besides Shijia to replace it in the next patch. Operation Tempest will be there but thats USMC v ARF, not as unique as China v Russia.

Don't really see a point of replacing it with anything, unless it's somehow broken. From the 4km maps this seems to be one of the best, especially for epic infantry fights.

At the end of the day, any map in PR represents a shitload of work for someone who has spent time and effort to produce something solely for the benefit and enjoyment of others - and for that they deserve your respect. Not your unerring, arse-licking gratitude but a modicum of respect and common decency.
Be constructive or GTFO.
