This is bad idea.

If you want to keep it realistic like that you would have to assume that each hit = out of combat (how would you run or shoot when your arm/leg is nonfunctional?). That would be just bad and over complicating things, just keep it up with current system, which is good and realistic when it comes to keeping people together as squad and still being able to play.

I do not want to implement this into normal PR because I know that many players want to be revivable all the time and won't appreciate this system. But I only wanna know if it is possible to modify server files to have this system on the server.

I know. I'm speaking about event idea. As I stated above it won't contribute to it. Furthermore it will make people confused because it will be nonintuitive.

This thread is degrading into a war of words. ;) Isn't it going to be regular PR, but with each player having only 1 life? (Sniperdog's idea sounds great if it's easily implemented.)

Iam agre with this experiment :-) Everytime Iam trying have 0 death. I wanna see who will stay on foot after battle :-D

One per mont server start. Everybody have just One life.
After all fight somebody place statistics of all battles (if its possible and probably just one battle :-D ).
Than we can see who played with real experiences :-) Who was lucky etc.
I think it could be very good for get more experience with this game (and I hope, nobody wont need this in real life :-( )

No, you have misread. :P

I'm talking about changing game mechanics so drastically for this event even if viable.

If I am right. If you was to use SniperDogs system. Cives would not get kicked for respawning should they get killed according to the ROE system. IE: die as a Myarter. I Like that.

Anyway. I Am game for 1 life. Sign me up

I Would also ask that a modifier be put in place.

- 300 teamwork points = Kick/ban/whatever.

This would represent a court Martial for murdering of civilians.

That is if you play an INS map. Are you all brave enough?

No, it's going to be more awesome because of better teamplay and people not making suicide missions.

I would be very grateful if somebody could deliver a piece of code which can do the trick.

Then Ill go eat something inbetween...

Being kicked out of the server and someone taking up your palce is another story.

My idea would be simple

10 minute kick for death, no matter if youre a civie or whatnot.

There, 1 rule, 1 life, 1 chance.

Oh yeah, and mumble enforced obviously.

Each gamemode would get one open map and one urban map (INS, AAS)

This idea died a little, we still can do this event but there is a server needed. Anyone can provide it for this event?
