Surely as a DEV, by definition you develop Project Reality? O.o
I though there was a tourney admin mask anyway?
I guess his PR comics are good enough reason to get that title.

being a tourney admin does not mean you are automatically a Dev here. Fullforce is primarily working on a Guide for 0.4, along with keeping you all amused with his comics
Back on topic please.

I had the ramp working so it lowered/raised automatically, but it can be pilot controlled if you guys would prefer.
Oh, and there was a far better reason (or three) for me going than drinking. But I got a good laugh from that

ooo IDEA!
NEW SUGGESTION:
People cannot get out of a chopper till the ramps, or doors are 100% open. So if it's pilot controlled then there is going to need to be communication during and before flight so the doors are open'd at the right time so the crew can get out. And if automatic it'll keep people from jumping out of choppers in midflight.

But it'll put more focus on the pilot.. And keep people from bailing out of a chopper for no apparent reason.. Plus there's less complete n00b pilots..

IF you can get the rear ramp to open and close under control of a player could you then not have:
THe rear door of the Warrior opening, the Bradley (in due course), lynx side door and any future remodeled vehicles.
I realise that having climbin in and out animation is impossible but even OPF does not have full animation for it.
So "simply" the rear of say the Warrior swinging outwards and players leaving the vehilce appear just out side the door and those entering inside the main compartement.
The reason i beleive this would be worth the time and effort required (if poss) is becuase such relativley small features imerses the player hugely and add levels of realism to a game that can only be done through such changes to either the enviorments or vehilce/player models. Presently vehilces are realy semi static blobs that move round the map on either 2 or 3 axis and nothing much else - not greatyl compelling compared with all hatches, valves, extra equipement that moves on the real versions.
First and simplest Question: can the doors of certain vehilces be made to open and close - just that and nothing else??
p.s > many of these would require the inside of APC's, IFV to be modeled, however crudely - this single feature again adds, quite simply, magneficant level of realism/imersion, there could be considered worth it.
AND IF you are desperate, just add "basic" version as soon as it is done and then the door opening, inside Crudely modeled in a later release
