When you jump you use up 1/3 your stamina AND while jumping its considered sprinting for purposes of using your kit

May I suggest a partial solution to disabling of the UAV to something a little more real, at least for aircraft carriers.

On aircraft carriers/main bases where you have a "radar scanner", have it constantly be on for everyone on the team.

However, the radar scanner ONLY picks up flying vehicles - not armor or infantry.

Increase the range to double the current UAV range.

I always found it weird that I'm sitting here on the Aircraft Carrier in the AA gun and the Aircraft carrier doesn't have a built-in radar station showing me enemy aircraft.

Sadly thats not possible in the BF2 code. Your recoil has to stay the same no matter what your position. Hopefully this can be dealt with a bit.

Hm..commander and a pilot clas....and one thing that its bothering me..removing the very very lame radio command...Okay..leave the roger that and affirmative..just please remove the stupid okay. Or is there a easy way so i could remove it myself? So i would hear roger that and not okay... :D

The support kit should be more accurate when its prone.

There's an idea floating around in the forums about allowing Support to "deploy" like you can in Joint Ops.

Personally if they did this I would play Support more often:
  1. When you go prone on a hard surface you automatically attempt to deploy your weapon - takes about 2-3 seconds
  2. If you move anytime during the deployment then it works like it does today
  3. If you crouch instead near a window or a low wall you'll deploy there with a similar 2-3 second deployment time if not interrupted by movement
  4. While deployed you only have a 60 degree arc you can fire in
  5. Pressing Prone while deployed prone will end the deployment and have you stand
  6. Pressing Crouch while deployed crouched will end the deployment and have you stand
  7. Pressing Crouch while deployed prone will canel the deployment and have you attempt to deploy crouched
  8. Pressing Prone while deployed crouched will cancel the deployment and have you attempt to deploy prone
That's my $0.02

Its a nice idea and i support it, do this guys if you can. ;)

Btw, you should add some radio commands...i think there's to few..and if there's gonna be no death messages..add a command, enemy down or something like that..or - we got him etc.

I have played the mod and I think if you can change it so that if u shoot some one in the head they die not just become critically wounded if u can do that. I like to snipe and it is annoying and unrealistic if your brains are on the ground a medic is not going to help you.

You could make it work like a mortar in bfv or a 50 cal in fh, yes...

the hard part ( i think ) is making it so the handheld version can't be used when you have deployed it, and then the really hard part is picking it back up and making it so you can use it handheld after you deployed it and picked it up.

and NO ONE apparently is listening to me when i say this, so ill just spam it everywhere:

its about different levels of recoil for different stances.

You can control how much weapon sway there is per stance, right?
and you also have an excited sway and a calmed sway fore each stance i beleive...

make it so right after you fire, there is a very stong sway, but it only lasts for a fraction of a second.. like .2 or .15 seconds or someting. this way the sway only has enough time to pull the gun up really quickly, simulating recoil. you just have to make it last short enough so that the sway restarts between every shot ( the sway has to last less time than the rof per minute)

so, this way, you can have adjustable recoil per stance.

Hmmm this thread is over long and I did not read more than page 1, so I hope this is a new addition:

Can I have a "TAKE COVER" shout on the primary or secondary communications menu please?

PRMM is a more tactical than BF2 and often when you hear those big guns firing you now pretty well they are aimed at your location. I mentioned this to one of the devs online (sry cannot remmeber who :o ops: ), but thought I should post it somewhere here to complete.

I play much Forgotten Hope and the simple "FxFy" voice commandos there I miss, I don't like very much the new radial communications menus in BF2, but most of all, I miss the "TAKE COVER", and to a lesser extent, the clear distinction between voice and radio calls.

Idont know if its already been mentioned but I think you should have a full version of PRMM with everything like new countries and then a 'lite' version with just the regular countries and only changing weapon and such already in the game....

JO has a great setup for support going prone plus the semi-transparent iron sights are very nice.

IF the MM still uses the HUD - how about Graphically and/or with Color, change the Directional Letter Indicators [E,W,N.S] so one can more easily discern what the H they are. At present it is often hard to tell the E from the W.

Semi transparent iron sight are fake though and I personally dont like semi transparent iron sights and never used the sights in JO because they looked so freaking lame.

Once you destroy enemy arty/command station/radar, its gone. If its damaged you can repair it but if its destroyed then its out for the rest of the round.

I got a couple of suggestions

1) add british forces please!!! it would be absolutely amazing

2) make gunner guns more accurate when prone because they are accuarate in real life.

3) Make all the guns more powerful, 1 shot headshot, 2 shot chest 3 shots legs arms etc.

4) make the rocket explosions from handheld rocket launcher more powerful with a larger blast radius.

5) longer sprints when you have less ammo and equipment

6) make the blackhawks less damn deadly

7) maybe make some maps?

thats my lot i think these would be great additions forgive me if some of these are already in mod.

ADN FOR GODS SAKE DON'T TAKE AWAY RESPAWNS!!!!! Realism should not take the fun away and dying is inevitable and thats a small sacrifice instead of no respawns and super realism
