Now this is an interesting tactic which I've never seen before, RPG artillery. Although hard to do, the 5 RPG gunners sitting on the Insurgent repair station continually spammed RPG's at us, hitting the dome of death harmelessly and exploding in mid air. However, once they got the right angle they were able to explode just above our repair station, killing a supply truck and one of my squaddies. Later as we were moving up, we started taking explosions and instantly presumed it was mortars, until we saw the RPG's streaking through the air. The fantastic thing was that although they were using a spotter, they hit my squad moving full speed on the
first shots, doing some serious damage. Amazing stuff, if anyone wants to check it out, do so now as the RPG changes are being reverted next patch.

It does look awesome tho

I've encountered a stray RPG while I was crossing a field like that. I've also seen an fire movie where they act as long range missile launchers to shoot at troops on the eastern island thing in Basrah

Anyone remember that scene from Saving Private Ryan where they're arming and throwing the mortars at the German troops, when the big tank comes rumbling over the pile of rubble and down the other side?

"IT'S OVER 3000!
How?!"
Edit: Nevermind, for a moment I thought it was over 3000, but then realised that it says 3000 in the map range meter.
EDIT #2: WTF I'm confused! That can't be just 3000!
What is this..
I don't even...
4700...

It says 3000 cause it cannot show more. The view distance was set to 6,5 km. And it can be changed dynamically (instantly, without reloading the map) and maybe linked to you current altitude.
