looks pretty good noobage, but the tri count is still a bit to high, try and remake some of the cylinders on the vehicle since they take most of the tri count, this could be cutting one side on each of the smoke launchers etc, or removing the small indents in the front skirt for the lights and replacing those with a normal map possibly.

Beautiful model tmnoobage, but I'd echo what motherdear said, and start by losing all the small detail on the hull like the armour lines or the detail around the glacis plate lights and doing all that with a combination of normal and AO. Even using just an AO layer on your texture can bring out those details fairly well.
But if you're determined to keep them, then you can still reduce a lot by getting rid of things like the straight edges on the glacis plate and creating your own tris by vetex connect/target welding.

I'll model the top gun, I'm about 50% finished already. Is there any other pictures around, google didn't turn up any
I'm pretty much done optimising the Type 90, I'm going to remove that little piece at the side, and tweak the front like you showed on the pictures. Thanks for the info ripptide, it's a pitty BF2 has such terrible normal maps thanks to it's ambient lighting
Tri count is about 9, 500 now
About 60 done the flare gun, I modelled all the detail I could see in the picture below, I'm not sure if the handles angle is right, but I can fix that If I have more refs

Yeah, I'm on my new computer now, but I've been going all over the country for the past few weeks and haven't been able to get much in. However, I just reinstalled the BF2 editor so I'll get pics of the skins sometime today

That reminds me I should seriously look a place were they sell ARMA II.
Now if some stuff from that community can actually be imported to PR (Obviously with their consent) then this mod would certainly be finished much sooner that expected. Although I'd prefer if the mod could stick with being as original as possible.

i definitly want to see the army in PR too 162, but as i stated in the pm's i'm gonna wait on modeling the vehicles etc until the current team for the japan faction has decided on what direction you want to go.
