It should also be noted that Camels do show up on the Apache's Longbow radar from very far away
but what the radar designates them as is a closely guarded secret! (According to Apache by Ed Macy)

Are there any plans for more arty in PR:N such as deployable nebelwerfers, V1 rocket (same mechanic as a JDAM), 88mm Flak or some sort of bombing runs for the alies?

The 88mm Flak is being modelled by community member Ratface.

I'd love to have a Nebelwerfer, but requires someone to actually model it. Would also require some thought on how to implement it in-game. I guess similar to mortars, but you can't copy/paste that technique just like that.

will PR:N only have historical battles or also some fictional battles (like normal pr maps are)

V1 rocket was, afaik, only used to attack the UK, wasn't designed to, or even be accurate enough to use against troops on the ground and even if it was, would be a massive waste of its range.

After the british assaults about 3000 more V1s were dropped on Belgium. My grandma's house got hit by one. But yeah, those were the remaining ones they had left from bombing the UK.

also they where aimed for the harbor not on allied troops. That was because Antwerpen was the most important harbor of the allies after it got captured.

The maps will always be based around historical events. The results won't always be entirely accurate though, so in a way you can create fictional battles, but not as fictional as in normal PR.

does it matter? With PR the thing is that it always comes out if they say it will,and that it will always be good. This counts for every release,trailer, highlight. Just wait it out and enjoy when it's there. This is their hobby, not their job.

Ratface is modelling the 88mm, though we don't know if it will be used as arty. It would serve more as an AA or AT gun

We have planes, but we need maps to put them in, a 2km x 2km map is big enough for those planes not like jets in PR that require 4km x 4km.

All should be based on history but it's not super important that the scale of maps is 1:1 or that buildings have historical markings like in FH2 :razz:

Devs, will the PKM be part of the new Heavy Mg kit? If yes, then what will be the normal AR certain factions? I assume RPK with long mag for Taliban? What about the Russians?
