lol...I can picture that happening in my mind

Do you have any source on this?
I know certain ammunition (multi-purpose rounds) is restricted against personell, but I don't think there are any restrictions beyond that. Seems like another nonsensical myth to me.

I know how you could solve it with one guy left. One from your team run down and stands next to him, then you can shoot him and your teammate runs back xD

But in war and love, everythings allowed ;)

-One captain, two lieutenants and a sergeant. I've been going through the NATO rules online but it's always so hard to find what you're looking for.

The .50cal restricted against person(ell) is a myth. Norwegians have used MP-T round against taliban in Afghanistan during Operation Karez and Operation Harekate Yolo. However the sharpshooters were investigated after that mission.

-Edit, missed the preview button-

The accusations was dropped after the Norwegian Contigent Commander, the Norwegian forces commander in Afghanistan, supported the sharpshooters in their act against taleban.

Hey guys,

I recently stumbled over your project and the first thing I thought about was the former mod "northern conflict". The guys produced a huge amount of content for BF2 including KNM Fridtjof Nansen, BV206, NASAMS II, GBU-12 and many, many more pieces of work. All I know is that the team discussed to switch the engine (crysis) in 2007 but since that thread has been started at their forum nothing has happend to the mod or the website. Maybe you can arrange a cooperation or use some content?

Unfortunatelly my virus scanner says that the website is infected with

"Trojan.JS.Agent.dd"

:/

If anybody wants to try (own risk!!!!): http:// nc.spillutvikling. net.

You can take a look at some of the pictures here:

What is your point BFG punkbuster, you saying that they have copy this illegal. Why do you go so out so hard, almost sounds like you are envious. Anyway, Here (halvor - Viewing Profile) you can se a familiar name, who is the leader (I think) for this mod.

Keep up the good work, but is it posible to get snowy uniforms?

Yes halvor1 is our mod leader.

And as for snowy uniforms, idk, I think we are going to stick to Afghan maps right now, because snowy stuff would require a lot of texture addons.

As the last article states, "sedvanerettslig grunnlag" means that you can't engadge an enemy with this type of ammunition. But you can use whatever you have if they have engadged you. And just to make things more confusing CV9030 with it's 30mm Multi-purpose munition have no "restrictions" against personell.

The rules are just shit why follow them when they dont follow them :S

Its okay to no engage mosques and not try to bomb villages and civilians, but when you talk about what ammounition to use it goes alittle overhand.

Possible to code multi-purpose in BF2 anyway?

Getting designated threads for H&K416/7?
Has anyone started on Iveco or the Bell yet?

Love this bit of politicians' speak:
A.G.Strøm-Erichsen wrote:Jeg er uenig i at det er en dobbelthet i regelverket her. Noen taktiske valg tas på bakken, og de må man i etterkant gjennomgå.
For the non-Norwegians here, this is about the rules about using "multi-purpose" ammunition (primarily designed to take out "hard" targets), and our Minister of Defence says, "I disagree with there being a duality in the rules here. Some tactical choices are made on the ground, and those must be reviewed later."

So what she says is that Norwegian snipers are allowed to use multi-purpose ammunition against people, but the politicians in charge are perfectly within their rights to punish them for it if they see fit to cover their arses. Love Norwegian politicians.

No offence, but thats a really shitty way to think...

"Why cant we kill POVs when our enemies do?"
"Why cant we rape pillage and kill when our enemies do?"
