well, we could use it, its just not worth the effort of getting it made, your talking 6 months to a year of solid work.

I finally found some "me-time" to finish up my newest human base mesh.

Created from day 1 to be animated and subdivided :)
Finished refining the woman form tonight (male will soon be complete too). Going to make a test game character for each mesh to test out the mesh and rig (still to come).

Quickly threw some high poly eqipment together to cover up the private areas :)

Sword and shield was made last night and the sword has been normal mapped.
(seen below with normal + ao map applied)

also threw together a quick set of textures for it :P mmmm gore

Will update later in the process when I get some more spare time for this project.

My little "technical"-modeling (Mk3 Double Cab Hilux) project. It's been a while when I have modelled something. And I think it was Milkshape 3D back then :D . So I just though it was a good time to model something again.

So... here it is:

It has now about 2100 tris. Still needs some detail, interior and ofc gun to the back. Also I need to optimize the model, but that is the last thing to do :P

...what do you think?

Sexy. You might consider giving it to the Dutch Forces Community Mod. IMHO they need a replacement for their re-skinned police technical. =D

Yea ofc! If someone needs this model, it's available. :)

btw! What MG should I combine with it and what would be good triangle count for this?

It would really depend on the use of it. But since it probably will be a drivable car where the players come up close I'd say somewhere in between 2-5,5K triangles or something. Depending on what details and equipment is needed for the model.

Btw, looks like you do pretty good low poly modeling, I'm sure some of the community mods could use you if you are up for it :)

For the MG I think it should be a Kord or the M2 in the back or 2 side firing RPKs or M240s on the top of the cabin but in the end its up to the Devs of the mod that take that truck to decide.

Thanks! Yea I started modeling with Milkshape 3D long time a go and you cannot do much high poly modeling with it :p . And another thing is that I'm intrested making models to games, so low poly is the way... I think

Ok thanks! I gues it's better just to model everything else but the MG first. I will model MG when I know which one.

Definitly, hook me up on xfire or msn if you need any advice or anything.
(info in my profile)
if you use xfire you could also join this group where most of the modders, contributers and developers are: Project Reality Community Modders (prcm)

I don't give out work assignments but I might know a few models that would do PR some good or a few mappers that need some custom models for their levels.
A new technical, as you are working on would be a good place to start I think.

Or you could just ask around the forum if anyone needs anything done :)

as far as i think you do not need to model a mg for your car since there are mg´s already in game that can be stickt on the vehicle itself via code. but you might need to model some sort of "tripod" where the mg is sticked on (i do not know how to call it exectlly :D )

anyway it looks nice :)
