Bufl4x wrote:Decent server as long as admins are on, clan members are mostly firendly and work together well.
However teamswitching is ridiculous sometimes and the one chanel mumble doesn't help teamwork either.
Needs a stricter "no wasting assets" rule as well.

Hey Bufl4x glad you're enjoying the server. As far as the team switching goes I have to say that we do our best to monitor this but we are far from infallible, unfortunately the main culprits for this are recognised clans and members of the PRT.

Far too often I see people joining our seeding map knowing Muttrah is next and then they proceed to switch to ensure they are US on Muttrah so they can grab all the heavy assets.
The same thing happened today and as usual when they lost quite badly on Muttrah they all quit because they didn't want to play as militia on Fools rd which was the next map, again probably because no heavy assets are available to them.

This is very annoying for us as admins but we can hardly be expected to monitor everyone all the time, like I said we do our best. I'm sure that when these players frequent the TG server then they are the models of good behaviour but I feel this is their responsibility to ensure a balanced game and not ours, the same way that it's their responsibility to act mature. In short don't blame us, blame the selfish kids who continue to spoil other peoples fun for the sake of their own amusement and who couldn't care less about the "team" as a whole and who only seem to care about their kdr.

As for the last part of you post, I'm not sure how we can be stricter regarding our rules. If people report asset wasters then they are quickly kicked, similarly if we see it ourselves then we quickly take action.

If you have any ideas about how you think we can improve the server then by all means drop by the website so we can discuss it.

edit* I think you will find it a very rare thing for there to be no admins on the server, it's one of the reasons why we are very popular.

Maybe it's just me, but when there are no transport choppers left 10 minutes in a jabal round, i would kick the whole chopper squad or at least all the pilots. In my book flying over the manned AA cannon multiple times is just as bad as flipping the bird on the carrier.

That same round made me write about teamswitching, at one point it was 38 vs 24 in favor of the US side. An admin finally decided to turn on autobalance after 20 minutes of whining and begging from the mec players.

Still, this is the best european server in my opinion, keep up the good work guys!

Hi.

Just a reminder but early on in the morning 00:01-02:00

A player called 'President_Dieudo' was doing intentional TKs, intentionally destroyed a firebase, Solo'd a BTR...

Very annoying guy. Lot's of complaints were made and I'm sure your clan mates might have already banned him by the time this is read. This is just a reminder really.

Take care.

How can I say this...

For a player playing with the UKWF ppl for nearly 2 years (or more) I have neaver had problems with them. The only time I got banned from theire server was pre-PR (for UKWF and me) in the old vBf2 and I was base rapin...
The only reason why I did that was becouse i bought the game like 3 months before that and I didn't read the rules...
Since than I have played in harmony with the UKWF peeps for 2 years (and more) with no problems. They are simple normal ppl that just play the game with a need for mature gameplay...
IF you DONT whant problems on the UKWF server just read the rules and follow them, IF you DONT like them just dont play on the server, it's simple as that....

P.S. ( sorry for bad spelling not English + being drunk at the moment )

I was on that round as MEC, US team may have been stacked, but it was stacked with tripe and we utterly destroyed them, it was a bit hairy at the begining with the force of numbers capping our flags, but IIRC we won out that round with over 100 tickets spare.

i like your server and i believe it's the best place for an european player to play on during the afternoon.

but if you haven't looked in to this, please fix your maplist. 3 4km in a row isn't fun(is shit!).

Was a bit disappointed when all of my squad got kicked on Kashan for lack of teamwork.

We were working as a squad and building FOBs for the Team and defending them.

I know it is supposed to be 'Zero Tolerance' but normally you do actually give warnings.

2 Warnings were given, warnings were ignored so kicked was enforced due to lack of teamwork and being in camping range of enemy main (several choppers were hit with aa in their main also agianst the rules), being on the radio tower at south village is not helping the team when we dont have control of bunkers on kashan, after all this is the whole point of the game!

Fair enough about the warnings but I didn't see them.

I believe one chopper was shot down then I told them "don't do that, that is the main" - may have been someone from another squad who destroyed the following ones (there was one blue dot on the map with us). I do kind of agree about being at the tower and figured that was why.

Speaking of the Mumble saturday, aren't they going a bit to waste? I mean the rather complete disuse of the squadleader channels for the sole purpose of hearing the enemy on the off chance they actually blabber about on Mumble instead of their VoIP. I asked about it during the game as well, getting a pretty blatant "love it or leave it" response, with me and a few buddies opting for the latter after a couple of rounds.

Of course you can hold any kind of events you like, but to us it just seemed kind of pointless to go through the steps to gather most if not all of the server on Mumble, and then ignore most of it's potential in promoting teamwide cohesion. After leaving the server we went on to play on TG and Pelitutka, both very populated on Mumble, and had quite a few better rounds on them.

I really like mumble saturdays on ukwf.
But you should really take more care about the squadleader channel.
Yesterday i was on your server, for the whole evening, encouraging all leaders of my team to join the channel and we had some great teamwork going on there. Was SO
much fun with sql channel.

"Squad 4 to Squad 5, we need reinforcements. Squad 4 to Tank Squad, we need some firepower down here!"

Got a suggestion here. You guys ever done a Mumble saturday with only Insurgent maps and gametypes? You never see a full Insurgency server that is dedicated to that and that is my favorite game mode.

As long as the single room in Mumble with both teams in it goes, it is perfectly fine. For those people who dislike it then dont whine about it. It is more life like to have both teams in one channel. As for the Squad Leader channels, two weeks ago on Mumble Saturday I saw admins telling every SqL to get on the channel, warning and etc.

And love the server too. It is on my FAV list and I play on it at least once everytime I get on.
