alright, let me make this clear amigos.

everything that i wrote up above was actually verbal through mumble during the end of round where the server kinda hangs for a bit while it sets up the battlerecorder and prepares to load the next map. nothing was typed out other than the admin who banned me typing "!b anderson29" or whatever at the start of the next round. usually i record my games but i didnt have my fraps running at the moment so we only have my word.

and look coyote, i am one of yalls (cia) biggest fans. yall have awesome admins, a great bunch of guys that i play pr, dayz, and wasteland with occasionally. i have even donated a little bit of money to you guys as well, but i have got to say that recently i find it hard to have a good full round on your server and it really disappoints me. i know it may not be yalls fault or whatever but i can have good multiple full rounds on hog without the number of crashes yall are having...sorry but its the truth

and i have said this before and ill say it again. I am a selfish gamer, i hold no allegiances to anyone or anything. i just tell it like it is. i will never wear clan tags but that doesnt mean i am not a excellent team player. i cant count how many people i have tried to teach my in-game tactics to, trained on mortars, done my best as a trans chopper pilot....those are some of the things few people do these days and do well.

so dont get mad at me or puppy or the guy that even banned me (though he may need some retraining on admining). yall should be sharing more than logs, maybe share the server code or something.

the only reason i even made the post was to get the front page of this thread updated so someone wouldnt have to go through all the shit i had to just to talk to an admin to find out what happened which for some reason still hasnt been updated with the correct teamspeak3 info ts.hogclangaming.com: 9987 but whatever...at the end of the day i am just a guest on yalls servers and happy to have a place to play this awesome game and as long as we got good U.S. servers i am happy.

After spending the time talking to you anderson on HOG ts after the incident and going into depth about why you were temp banned and that if by the 1 percent chance it wasn't you being guilty of the offence I told you I apologize and now seeing what you have written in this forum I know you are telling a different version of what was talked about and I am no longer going to try to justify my actions in this thread.

anderson, their are no logs to provide, other than the log that shows lung temp banning you. their are no mumble logs to provide either. Lung has been an admin on our server longer than alot of our members even and we havent had any issues with him before.

But, as with any complaint we will look into it and keep an eye on things, thanks for the input.

We are looking at some rule modifications and have implemented them on our server to test. The rule change is for the assets mainly and was changed in order to free up some squad slots for infantry and special group squads. These new rules scroll on the admin line at top thruout the game. We may (if i get approval from our senior admins) to change the !rules to show the new rules temporarily to help in the testing and transition.

The new rules/changes are as follows and your feedback, ideas is welcomed:

"CAS Jet and CAS Huey squads can be claimed by one squad with a minimum of 6 players but must be named ALL CAS.

Transport squad can be locked with 2 or more members. Squad must be named TRANSPORT or TRANS

"Tracked Light armor/APC squads can be combined with a minimum of 6 squad members b4 being locked and must be named TRACKED APC.

"Tank squads require a minimum of 4 members b4 being locked. The squad must be named TANK"

"Wheeled APC squads require a minimum of 4 squad members b4 they are locked and must be named either BTR/BMP/BDRM/BDR/LAV"

"Trucks, jeeps, HUMVEE's, logi trucks and trans trucks are not squad claimable assets"

"FREE KIT squad members will be kicked 1st when making room in the server"

the Free kit squads are in our opinion counter productive to teamwork. Having a squad such as this creates and promotes individualism on the field and is counter to what we are attempting to achieve. Now, some are not opposed to say trans, tanks, apcs squads etc allowing members from other squads to come in and get additional kits for their infantry squads etc. If this is the case, ask the SL's if they will let you get a kit. DO NOT go into another squad and steal a kit, just ask please.

Hello, im posting this here because your website is not working for me.
About 25 hours ago i was banned on your project reality server, not a tempban, an actual ban for teamkilling 3 teammembers on accident by a claymore.
After i was banned, i wasn't going to appeal for the ban because i though it would only last for 24 hours , but after 24 hours, still banned. I think a ban larger than 24hours is not the correct punishment for teamkilling 3 people . So, could you unban me, because i think the admin who banned me gave me like a 2 week ban, or more.

Can we get some map variation going hog? Since you are now the main server everyone plays on i find it quite annoying when PR has 40 odd maps yet maps like Muttrah get played every six hours. I'm not saying it's a bad map it's just it gets old when you've played it for the tenth time in 4 days. Please mix up the variation admins, even if you dearly love Muttrah and all its delights not everyone one else does.

Im sorry, but even with the "new" rules I dont see any improvement. Last 2 days ive joined and seen the following.

around 2 inf sqds, both full

a lone sniper sqd
a lone marksman sqd
an aav sqd
an apc sqd
an cas sqd
an cobra sqd
an russian only sqsd
an JPN only sqd

9 sqd slots taken and at least 6-9 players unassigned.

Sometimes there is room in a sqd, but clicking it only shows that it essentially is a free kits sqd, just not in name.

we are attempting to teach the older admins to ask for map suggestions from the populace. some do some dont, bear with us. the new admins are instructed to ask for suggestions.

we are also working on changing the map roatation when say, no admin is on. its running thru all the maps including all the layers.

it is going to take a bit for us to get the word out. ANY new rule is not going to be perfect right off the bat. we have posted the rules in the scrolling messages as well as on our here and our website. Alot of players dont go to either website and most, it seems, dont read the ingame scrolls.

i am in the process of updating the !rules section to include the new rules as well.

new implementation processes can be tricky. this is a test to see how it plays out in game before we start breaking fingers etc. you will see a more aggressive stance on this thruout the weekend if we see that the new process is going to be viable.

i assure you we are watching this and see the same issues as you do. keep an eye out for us and continue with the feedback. We want this to be the best server out there too but it cannot be done by ourselves, we need and value the populace to help us make it the best.

Thats part of the problem, humans are creatures of habit, the majority would rather play the same old 3 maps over and over again than play some rare gems they might not even know very well.

that is true, i agree but better to have a majority than say me that dont know the maps either and pick a crappy one. just cause someones an admin doesnt make him or her a good map picker. if you just want a rotation to run then that sure is an option to consider along with others.

jack, you have to be approved to post on our website, thank spammers for that, but i will get with a senior admin to approve you so you can post a request to be unbanned, i dont know the answer to your question at the moment.

The problem of the lack of map variation is still ongoing. Tonight on one map vote the only options were muttrah or kashan, it's just getting so dull. If you call a server mixed maps at least give another option.

EDIT: haha i just checked prspy and it's muttrah again. lol

We simply cannot please everyone. There is NO possible way to do that. If they dont want muttrah, vote on the other option(s).

We dont sit there and think of ways to make our pubbers unhappy regardless of what you may think. Try being constructive rather than destructive. You say its a problem, yet, people are still playing it, i dont get your intentions nor your concern.

You have a point, i was being overly negative but purely because of frustration. It's not 100% your admins fault i know but i was just a very tired of playing muttrah and kashan and so was somewhat negative about the whole thing. But i still think it's up to the admins to mix it up a little, even if the maps may not be as popular or fun because honestly i haven't seen roughly half the maps of PR for months. It's not just HOG it's many other servers as well so don't feel as if i'm singling you guys out.
On another note played on HOG tonight and had a few really good rounds.
