I banned wouter (sp?) because mining a choke point is just about the best way to screw up a whole round. No warning should be needed for someone who is not a n00b. He is no n00b so he is perhaps a player we don't want on our server.

BlackTea told us to fuck off, which is admin abuse.. Tempban for him.

JaMeSz I think you may have missed that you got a spamming allchat warning, which is why you were surprised when you got kicked. In general please just take it to the forums if you disagree with the way we deal with bans etc.

I doubt about that you gave me a warning but okay, and besides that the admins were spamming as much as me and kept responding to my messages, so next time you might want' to do it in a better way.

Breaking rules will get you banned/temp banned before anymore harm is done to the rest of the players on the server.
This in turn sets in motion the ban appeal from the banned person explaining on our forums that he didnt read the rules, broke the rules and wont do it again, which in turn usually means said rule breaker will get a civilised response from the banning admin and 99% of the time will get unbanned straight away (unless it was proper griefing ofc).

Or said banned person comes and explains it wasnt him,there has been a mixup which in turn he will get a civilised response from the banning admin who will then in turn look into the incident and apologise if indeed a mistake has been made.

You were warned for spamming all chat after the incident , then temp banned for carrying on spamming all chat (which I might add your ban has been lifted by now), Black Tea was temp banned for telling the admins to "Fuck Off", which in light of things was the kindest thing we could do as admins at that time.
Of course you can appeal on our forums.

So in respect to your "Easy way out" comment, as you can see what we do isnt the easy way out, it is actually making work for ourselves and with holding our stature as a very well admined server, maybe pushing the rules on other servers because you know you will get away with it upto a certain point is the game you play? I dont know but it sure as hell dosent work on MeRk.

And then again, i never saw any warning.

Teamspeak wise everything remains exactly the same aside from the ip ofcourse.

Of course it's your opinion, you're not a supreme being or something like that, hehe! No matter who/what you are, I fully agree with your statement about MERK being the last good server in EU (not even looking across the pond... *shrugs*... although I can say only good things about that Aussie or NZ server bigD). Dammit, I miss TG so much. I didn't care much about their strange rules - the games were awesome for that time (0.91 for me). But, yeah, MERK basically is the only place to get those awesome teamwork filled rounds and basically play PR like it's supposed to be played.

So I was running around in main TKing and flipping choppers like I usually do when I was suddenly banned!!! Why?! I don't even...

Jokes aside, good rounds yesterday. Really nice that you both have a vote to skip the seeding INS map, and that we can play the next tournament map. Kind of weird playing without mumble for a round, but we fixed it for the next. For thursday maybe APN can get the server going even earlier .

Homer and I have recently come back to PR after a few months away.

We are actually pretty shocking at the moment.

Still nice to play on the Merk server though - the map variety is strong with alt versions, a cheeky vehicle mode here and there and sometimes some audacious choices like Ghost Train.

Nice.

Could do with more "greatest server EVAR" or "smurf is the best guy to not have around"...looks better on the feedback page.

I heard that Smurf is admin abusing all the time + trolling in main, but thanks to the other merkies the server is still enjoyable

Sad that the server died on Wanda tonight, but you need to turn of the switch for squad members. Lots of people that play together quit if they get switched and then the server dies pretty quickly as it happens to more and more people.

And please have the admins use english when using !s and warnings.

There is currently no option to disable this specifically. #ThanksMats

There is the option to disable autobalance on death, but that also turns off a large portion of balancing if one team is rage quitting. I'm inclined to prefer that though, since one team rage quitting is better than both.
