I dont know if it would be to difficult, but I think that some objects you should be able to shoot through. Like the tin fences can be shot through and stuff like that, but not get to in depth like the 50s can penetrate the birck walls or anything, but the thin stuff like though fences I thikn should be able to be shot through.

More Suggestions

1. Increased View Distances
2. Create maps that have longer firefights, both in time and distance
3. UH1-Y Iroqois
4. Less weapon selection (most US infantry carry M16s or M4s)
5. Sights for stationary guns (.50 cals, LMGs, etc)

Suggestions

Add Black Watch Warrior Infantry Fighting Vehicles (with the little scottish flag on the back door) :D instead of the APC we have for the US.

Add Sights for stationary guns (.50 cals, LMGs, etc)

More british gear!

You sound like you think the British stuff is replacing the US stuff... That's not the case

When the Brits are introduced, they'll have all their own equipment, not stuff that's "instead of" the US' gear! You should take a look at the Media Gallery if you haven't already!

The Warrior's there already! (ok, minus the scottish flag lol)

Oh, and replace the LAV-25 (USMC armored personnel carrier) with the AAV

If the AAV replaced the LAV, USMC would be SOL compared to the other armies, who would have a tougher vehicle. I would like to see it, though.

That won't happen. The LAV-25 and AAVP7A1 have different roles in the USMC. The LAV-25 is used as a reconnaissance vehicle; they are similar in role to the M3 Bradley Cavalry Fighting Vehicle, in that they only carry a small dismount section of scouts (3-4 according to TO&E).

The AAVP7A1 is a "battle taxi," and despite its massive size, is lightly armored. The applique armor helps a bit but it's still a giant target and poorly armed compared to modern infantry fighting vehicles and recon vehicles, since it's an APC.

I see... then in that case, keep the LAV-25!

How 'bout that Advanced AAV (there's a topic about it)?

How about the AAAV and some armed versions of the L.B..
Great job on the L.B. by the way.

I'm curious. The in-game "Linebacker" looks a hell of a lot like the M2A3 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle, is that because A)dice is retarded or B)there really is a bradley twin used for Air Defence.

I vote A) but i haven't doen any research on this one.

Well, there are different versions of the LAV, one of which has anti-air missiles, so don't doubt that there's an AA version of the Bradley nicknamed the Linebacker

The correct answer is C) both are true, but not for the reason stated. ;)

The M6 Bradley Linebacker is an M2A2/A3 series Bradley with the TOW Launcher replaced by a 4-round Stinger launcher of the same type found on the HMMWV-based Avenger; the stowage racks for TOW missiles in the passenger compartment are replaced with racks for Stingers. So, in this sense, DICE is not retarded. However, it (and the other Bradley variants, and F-15E and Blackhawk assault-transports) are not operated by the Marine Corps, which does make DICE retarded.

The USMC recently acquired an air-defense version of the LAV, and IMO, a superior system to the Linebacker. It has 2 4-cell Stinger launchers (for a total of 8 ready missiles) and a GAU-12 25mm gatling cannon (the same type used on the AV-8B Harrier II) with a much higher rate of fire than the Bradley's Bushmaster (uses the same family of ammunition, though). I hope the next incarnation of the Bradley Linebacker or other SPAAG/SAM system incorporates the LAV-AD turret; they won't need to change the ammunition and they will be able to use components already in US inventory.

More Suggestions:

Place sniper and machine gun kits at the bases like in Forgotten Hope and have no sniper class selectable in the menu.

Some kits may include the M240G, AT-4, M40A3, SVD, Mosin-Nagant, MG42 (for paramilitary troops), etc

I like Tomcat's suggestion of no respawns, but like Black Beret said, there would have to be a limit to game length. The maps, even the small ones are just too big. You could run in circles forever looking for that one last guy. Nobody wants to wait for that. Maybe though, it could be an option on a server. Timed game, that is. One more problem with no respawns. Although you guys have done a lot to alleviate the problem of "bunny hopping", some people still do it, and without the ability to respawn and get revenge on those dancing ********, I could see myself getting pretty mad. Also, a quick question, maybe a stupid one. How will the new special forces mod integrate into PR? Zip lines and such. Like many people on this forum, PR has made it impossible for me to go back and play the standard version of the game, but I am looking forward to the new factions, vehicles and weapons.

Suggestions:

Longer respawn time for players. Maybe people will actually be careful if they have to wait 45 seconds or a minute to respawn.

Longer respawn, reload, and repair times for vehicles. AH-1Z's should not constantly be in the air. There should be some time when they have to refuel, reload, and get repaired (the three R's)

Realistic armaments. Machine guns on vehicles should be able to run out of ammunition, and I'm pretty sure an AH-1Z can carry more than 14 Hydras.

Green tracers for the PKM and RPK.

Some muzzle flash for weapons, but not that much

The AH-1Z only has 2 7 shot rocket pods.

They have either 2 19 shot or 2 7 shot but DICE modeled them with the 7 ones.

They also didn't really model the AH-1Z, but a hybrid of characteristics of the AH-1W and AH-1Z.
