Enjoying the minimod release quite a bit so far, some really good work. My only peeve is the airplane sounds on Omaha night mission, with paradrops (not sure if ambient or vehicle sounds, probably the former though). It drowns everyone and everything else out and after a while it starts to give me a headache. I really hope it's not intended to be deafening.

It's 2 hits to kill shermans, unless from behind, one shot of the Stug should 1 shot it.

Is my answer to everyone who has said this so far in my squads ;D

I think it adds a little bit to the ambiance, although they may be loud, I think it would be unrealistic to tone them down a whole bunch, just maybe a little bit. Those things are damn loud! lol.

The planes are not ambient sounds, it's the actual sound of the planes ;) . Could be less loud I guess, though it's fine with me right now. But perhaps that's because I play with speakers instead of headphones - could be.

Didn't read the entire thread, but they Americans really need a rallypoint at the beach heads once they capped all beach flags. Pretty weird that sometimes they still have to use the boats when they already have the beachflags :)

I agree that the planes are way too loud, it makes it hard to hear your squad mates. AD, play with headphone and you will know! :razz:

The barn in G8 of Bloody Gulch might have a buried flame or something at the eastern side of it. Players tend to bleed when passing by.

My sherman looks like this on Brecourt Assault -- Is that due to the Sherman being WIP or is that some bug (known already?) coming from my settings?

Mmh it looks like it's from your settings. Low textures maybe or low geometries?

its a problem with lod1, most likely with the wrong material assigned to the tracks for the most part, might be able to fix it though just editing its texture paths and/or its shader technique.

I guess it's like the problems some of the bunkers and houses have where you can see through their walls from the inside when you play on low graphics. Many statics in Normandy need new LODs and textures.
