when i go commander i sometimes grab a sniper and aid a squds defence. but this is when its me and 4 other DVB members vs. other people on low populated games. this way i can id targets and not just watch my friends die on sat cam.

AS a CO i grab a map and keep my head burried in it TILL i hill some patriotic music OF my COuntry. Only when i want to get a view of why my squads arnt taking flags do i move up and that is that end of that!
Generaly any kit with some form of magnification viewing devise is all i need and possibly a automic weapon IF my squads are doign really badly!!!!!

So you wait for 31+ seconds and risk losing kills just to see if you can find the SL?

i just hope the officers kit uniforms arent super noticable because we all know IRL its damn hard to tell the difference between an average soldier and the leading officer

its easy to tell who the sl's are now. They r the ones with peeps morping in next to him.

Great work guys...can't wait.
How about the RPG's. I think they are way to overpowered. Tanks and apc's are easy meat in PR as it is right now. Just not very accurate that a poor RPG's can take out a mighty abrahams.

RPGs and other Light AT weapons will hardy effect tanks etc
I think it took 7 of our LAW 80s in the last testing build to take out a T-90 hehe

Oh yeah, and how many bug fixes did/will you get through? ie. are the sights fixed etc.

bugs allways get though, but we will try and swat out as many as possible

Is there a chance in this next release, that the going prone with prefect aim thing will be fixed.
Last night on Thors, there were just so many players using this, the frustration when you are crouched ready, with sights up and still get killed is unbelievable.
I love playing this mod, but for me this is really starting spoil the whole thing, prone spammers go back to vanilla or 2142 where you belong.

well its really hard coded, and very hard to find any way to fix it. We have some methods to put players off from being able to prone and shoot with instant aim but we cant find any work around from the hard code to fix it fully.

there it was a mini-hotfix for instaaim and instaprone sometime ago that worked nicely, the author even became a R-CON but it wasn't fixed

Any chance that my idea for the chopper nose cam is going to be put in? You know, so you can check what's under you when you are about to land?
