Well, it doesn't look like the admins at the tactigal gamer server are or will take random punkbuster screenshots to prevent hacking. I wont be playing there anytime soon . But it looks like ECGN and igi have their act together so I will play there.

No point in playing there anyway, they refuse to use AAS which makes every game a total mess.

You know Mr D might have been kidding about the death penaly but I'm not.
If you damage my PC I want to do physical harm to you.
If I ever meet someone how says they work for a company that makes/distributes trojan zlob things ( like the one thatinfected me ) I will likely commit felonious acts upon his person and property.
I am not alone in that desire and soon these "hackers" will cross the wrong guy's kid, be traced and tracked, then Tony and Vito will give a visit, old school style.

Quiet a few seem to be one shot headshots, often from long range, and not from snipers, thats what gets me suspcious, not a short series of shots like most people fire. But I usually put it down to luck, I can rarely be bothered to report it and in most cases it will be luck. I just seems that it happens a few too many times for it to always be that.

I don't want to be rude but the Tactical Game server is the WORST server I have ever played. It's worse than Vanilla servers!!!!! I played there, we were getting base raped no admin. Hackers floating around everywhere. Teamwork was non-existence as all the n00bs were waiting for the plane. One noob stole my F18, only to crash it even before he got to combat zone. That is ridiculous. Also, no AAS.

Yeah, I have to say it's pretty bad server now. I went to their forums and asked/suggested about taking random PBSS to get rid of hackers, but they all avoided it and eventually locked it because they don't think they have any cheaters on the server. If there's anything I hate more than a bad server, it's a server with ignorant admins.

man... I really tried hard to be called a hacker today... but to no avail.... even had some 10-1 KTD rounds.. hehe.. I must say I like the iGi server.

Some of the choices the DICE guys made just a baffle me. Why is the Battlerecorder made to not allow you to see through the players eyes on playback? You see in the videos of these guys that they place the crosshairs on the targets through the wall/hill as they move along. Even if you could not see their screen you could tell they are hacking by seeing this on a BR playback.

Also I understand why PB only allows Admins or players with limited Admin powers to take screen shots as you could slow down the server. But it would be nice for players to get a chance to call a screenshot too. Maybe restrict it to only one or two a round. Many times there are no admins around and it would be nice to have some "proof" of hacking.

If servers are being setup to automatically take screenshots of high scoring players that is great. However I hope they take the shots before the end of the round or at random times as all the hacker has to do is hit the hide bot key so that everything looks normal. If it is not random-ish then it will be too easy to hide.

she took off from the carrier with a slam on her tail and blew up about 30m away and was convinced someone had shot her from east beach... even after i told her it was me

if it was anyone else, my reaction would be different.

This thread has given me an idea... someone should make a mod for whatever game.... and make it totally hackable on purpose... and the whole point of the game is that whoever has the coolest hacks wins.

yeah. and they can call it "hackmasters area of death" or something..

dunno if anyone read it, but PCGamer has an article on pay sites for hacks/cheats. hopefully these sites can be taken down
