The only think I'd like to see changed on Muttrah is more enterable buildings instead of the non-enterable ones. Everything else is perfect. Except MEC, I hate MEC infantry but that's personal preference.

EDIT: Alternate layout with US Army instead of USMC would be fun. Light APCs only such as 50.cal and mk.40 Stryker and Humvees and a kiowa or two for CAS. The APCs can spawn on Docks.

A remake of Muttrah, for PR:BF2 at least, would be totally pointless since the map is already to scale and, unless brand new statics where made, nothing new to replace them with. If anything is going to happen an update of the current map is all that really makes sense.

Just change sky.con, and brand new map. Don't even add streetlights.

If so, that would be a realistic change during a battle like we have there.

I'm not a huge fan of the dark maps, but on ones that are well known, and urban, like Al Basrah also, I think it would be interesting.
Would make sense, say the US bombed the power stations? Hueys with their FLIR cams would become more viable, and you give the transports and CAS (heart of the US offensive) a bigger role. Simply change the BTR-60s to 80s, add a EC635 to balance out US thermals, and you have a nice Alt layer that will spice up bland old Muttrah.\

Adding a copter to the MEC wouldn't seem realistic as the US would most likely gained air superiority over the city with that carrier laying about. Altough the rest previously mentioned sounds very interesting imo. I mean who wouldnt want to see tracer fire from a shilka in the dark? :) View distance or fog could possibly make it less overpowered as Rhino mentioned it could be.

Maybe a side objective could be fun aswell, something that could add a simple bonus to the team holding it or is important to hold because it does something else major?

The other option would be to add a BMP-2 with a bright, large IR lamp and somewhat blurry Thermals.

Adding a night layer sounds cool. Someone should test that.

Also, since the U.S. has the advantages of air power?
After playing on Mootrah a few times this week already...

I think it would be neat, but if you have a CRAPPY US team; forget about the US winning. If they do ever decide to test the layout like that...
I'd like to see a boat load of tickets for the US.

x8 Boats (respawn after 5 minutes)
x4 AAV's (4 instant spawns... AFTER the FIRST FLAG IS CAPPED... only 2 respawn after that... 20 min respawn)
x2 LAV's (2 spawn instant, after 1st flag capped... 1 respawns 20 min respawn.)
x6 Trans choppers (6 spawn instantly, after second flag is capped, then only 4 respawn)
x2 CAS Huey's (2 spawn instantly, after 15 minutes, only one respawns)
x1 Cobra (Spawns after 10 minutes)

I think it would be cool... or have the layout like what Pavlosk bay has.

Matty if u give that amount of vehicules to Blufor ( +1 Lav + 1 AAVP + 1 Attack huey ) You better give the MEC force a weaponized Gazelle too ( the Shoko? )
