#DeleteMuttrah

A remake of Muttrah, for PR:BF2 at least, would be totally pointless since the map is already to scale and, unless brand new statics where made, nothing new to replace them with. If anything is going to happen an update of the current map is all that really makes sense.Raklodder wrote:I'm all for a Muttrah City remake.

Would make sense, say the US bombed the power stations? Hueys with their FLIR cams would become more viable, and you give the transports and CAS (heart of the US offensive) a bigger role. Simply change the BTR-60s to 80s, add a EC635 to balance out US thermals, and you have a nice Alt layer that will spice up bland old Muttrah.\Wing Walker wrote:Would that basically make it be Muttrah in a black out?
If so, that would be a realistic change during a battle like we have there.
I'm not a huge fan of the dark maps, but on ones that are well known, and urban, like Al Basrah also, I think it would be interesting.
The other option would be to add a BMP-2 with a bright, large IR lamp and somewhat blurry Thermals.arjan wrote:Adding a copter to the MEC wouldn't seem realistic as the US would most likely gained air superiority over the city with that carrier laying about. Altough the rest previously mentioned sounds very interesting imo.
Maybe a side objective could be fun aswell, something that could add a simple bonus to the team holding it or is important to hold because it does something else major?
After playing on Mootrah a few times this week already...Wing Walker wrote:Was just thinking, given the scenario, shouldn't all the flags on Muttrah be possessed by the MEC at the start?
Also, since the U.S. has the advantages of air power?
