i fail to see what you guys want. we decided to create a change on our server, you people are so boxed with your mind and thoughts that you fail to see behind the lines of text, bunch of people hiding behind their keyboards and monitors.
yes our admins will work hard in the upcoming weeks to enforce the new rules but we sure this change will make our server better then it is in the current state.
you guys are taking yourselves to serious, it a gaming community and its just a video game, these contest attacks on our community are just pathetic, every post that is made by on of the PRTA staff are getting bombardment by a an angry and sexual frustrated group of kids and sad little men that has nothing to do but attack our trying to be peaceful community.
these are our new rules, if you disagree with them that is your free right in the free world. be sure that we will not give up and our agenda is to create ta professional environment to encourage communication and teamwork. dont be afraid from every change. like every thing in real life its all about trying and learning.
and if you want to stay as the asset-whore who is just driving with an APC next to the infantry while they are walking for 20 min, to get from the main base to the firs flag then our server is not the place for you to be.

I see nothing wrong with these rules, would be boring to have every server with the same rules. Why those other guys complain so much i dont know. They dont have to play there so whats the problem?

Last time i looked there was more than one server up. Choice is a wonderful thing.

Play a game, mate. Games should have sensible rules in order to avoid confusion and to make clear when somebody is breaking them. Your altered ruleset has a few issues in that department.

That's cool and all, but it should be apparent that people react to change(and sometimes lack thereof). We're not grade-schoolers anymore, we can discuss change however we see fit so long as the discussion stays focused and civil. That a number of us view the upcoming changes critically, even negatively should, if nothing else, raise some red flags. Instead we're greeted with

Thanks, but no. I see no reason why we are supposed to use your forums over this feedback thread given how fast you react to criticism with childish insults. If you can't handle it here, you can't handle it there either, simple. Hopefully you're not the only one who's like that, dear lord.

I can see the level of maturity and professionalism already.

Regarding the rules:

All Squad Leaders of INFANTRY and MECHANISED INFANTRY squads must use the OFFICER kit when the squad has between 2-8 players, unless the Squad Leader is operating the asset.

Why is it necessary to enforce this rule? There's numerous reasons for a Squad leader to have a diferente kit. Its not by enforcing people to have this kit that will make a sudden increase of teamwork in the server.

RECON squads are prohibited. RECON troops must join the CAS squad, or an INFANTRY squad if a CAS squad does not exist. In all cases, RECON troops must actively assist the squad that they are part of, and not operate independently of the team.

What defines a recon squad? 1 Sniper, 2 Snipers, the name? Then can I be a recon squad under the name "Special forces" with 2 snipers, 1 medic and 1 HAT? Again your tackling the issue of non-helpful squads with strict and stupid rules that won't improve the game.

CAS (Close Air Support): Attack reconnaissance aircraft and AAV vehicles. If there are no CAS aircraft, the AAV may not be claimed, and is subject to the same asset claim rules as light vehicles.

Why can CAS claim the AAV? If is there one it should be used at the same time CAS is being used, meaning CAS shouldn't be able to claim it. There's more reasons for the Armour squad to claim one and using it for self-protection then CAS squads.

And I guess that mats is right we can base-rape Jets when landing, k.

Engaging enemy air assets whilst they are taking off from a main base is prohibited.

As usual, server admins taking feedback as an attack.

While I can't disagree, all these new rules heavily restricting gameplay seem to also be forgetting that this is a game.

It is actually true. 7 people including yours truly got perma banned in their forums and ts without any chance to appeal for reasons that are just a joke.
