does this mean we'll be getting more maps with the dutch as dovre is currently the only one
"""Important, due to an update to the mumble client, make sure you have Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 installed! Download it here. This is also for those who get the 'Mumble_app.dll error -3' error. You need the vc_redist.x86.exe even if you have x64 system.tny0061 wrote:My Mumble not working after update it said mumble launcher Error -3 fail to load mumble_app.dl l
Yes we will, just not sure when but we will.Captain Fubar wrote:does this mean we'll be getting more maps with the dutch as dovre is currently the only one
You could see through the smoke a little bit, but not that much to give you an advantage, at least in my perspective.[R-DEV]Mr.VdHeide wrote:We removed the ability to use low effects settings because people would exploit it. It was actually possible for low graphics users to see through smoke giving them a big advantage and that was considered unfair.
Can you share your laptop's specs? And also on what settings do you play the game?

Well there's always going to be the dicks that lower the effects settings to not draw smoke at distance, and also PR's engine is ancient at this point (only uses 1 core :/) so the DEVs had to make a decision. Still, if you can't really run PR in 2017, I think its time for an upgradeRico wrote:Frame rate absolutely bombs for my brother and I when smoke is deployed. Not liking the force effects change.
Strange... smoke has no effect at all on my FPS, but whenever there are many objects or players in my FOV, like on city maps, my FPS drop hard.Rico wrote:Frame rate absolutely bombs for my brother and I when smoke is deployed. Not liking the force effects change.
True, people just ***** around and expect the DEVs to appeal to the lowest common denominator instead of realizing their own responsibility and looking for ways to upgrade.Well there's always going to be the dicks that lower the effects settings to not draw smoke at distance, and also PR's engine is ancient at this point (only uses 1 core :/) so the DEVs had to make a decision.
