Well, next weekend I'll work on the light MEC skin, and I'll see how the rolled up sleeves looks.

Theyll probably not look good cause the model isnt' suit that. =/
Maybe a remodeling or aquisition of this first model would do good. Wich I think is not possible

GeZe wrote:Did you see the latest pics or did you just read the first page and post? Because your post is sort odd. The body armour isn't light grey, it's a dark brown...
I think it is fine as it is:

I'm not changing back to black, I think the brown is dark enough.
That is the plan, I am going to remove the sweater from the light MEC soldier.
No, I did not just read the first page. The body armor right now looks odd for some reason and doesn't look that real. I think the black in it is probably the problem if you are trying to make it brown. If you can take out the brown, or darken the brown up a little, it will look a little more realistic.

Oh yeah, your right.
Anyways, I'll work on it next weekend. But I can tell you the sweater is going.

Yes, I should finish the light skin next weekend, then I think I'll work on woodland version.

just thinking.
Was playing EJOD today, that MEC skin is awesome. The thing is I think should have it in the mod, cause in urban maps it's not that good... in fact in urban i think the brown uniform would give more camouflage. Or maybe a gray one (since US doesn't have it)

do you mean shouldn't? (be in the mod) or should? I am confused
I still haven't made the urban version, be patient. This is the total desert one for al fallujah and such desert maps.

I think the cammo looks out of proportion to the model size. It looks rather large in some spots, and kinda like they have dust on them...or more of a talc powder.
Can I ask how you extracted the boots and gloves and such from the original?

Geze, what I meant is that it should be in the mod

So the maps will have a different texture sulfix, like "urban" for example, this way ppl will be able to have different patterns for each scenario.

yes, that is the idea, like how US has woodland and desert versions.
EDIT:
guys, do you think I should scale down the pattern (ie smaller patches)? or is it good as it is?

Don't rush. Learn from the heavy things you've done and make it just as good
Also, for first time got PB kicked, due to a .md5 mismatch. Obviously, since it indicated the objects_client.zip inside BF2's folder as the cause, (but didn't say wich object inside it) it's either the MEC or Cobra skin. Only happened once though.
