OBSERVE THE MAP!!!!! Do you see that APC that just pulled out of base? Do you see all the requests for pickup coming from fellow players, and the APC completely disregarding all those requests? Well maybe, just maybe its a bad idea to spawn on this particular APC, because he will probably not give two shits about you sitting in the back of his APC, and you will probably die
I think theres a term for that, situational awareness. But of course that requires you to process multiple data inputs at the same time and decide what all that data means.
Since the people complaining don't seem able to read a manual or ask questions in-game it seems unlikely the answer to their problems will be more work.
You spawn in a moving APC as your squad's rally point + leader just got nuked. Suddenly you realize that your own squad already occupies all seats in the back, you sit at the gun while the driver is not in your squad. Shit, you can't jump out as this will surely be your death but you can't stay at the gun either. So you want the driver to stop, but he's too busy driving and doesn't notice your message. Beam. Where's the realism
The realism is in a $10 Mic that would allow you to talk to your squad leader and then you would know ahead of time that the APC is full and simply wait to spawn on SL when he exits the vehicle.
What really pisses me off is the snide, self entitled tone of members of the community.
Yes, it's true that if you play the game you are technically part of the community but it's only suggestions from the community that are accepted.
Hugekebab, you and some others are demanding changes and essentially threatening the DEVs with a lower player base if your demands are not met.
The DEV's reaction to that notwithstanding, I'm with wasteland, if you don't like it ...leave.
No one will miss you.
Don't let the door hit you where the Lord split you.
If you think that there are improvements to be made then I'm pretty sure any positive suggestions you have will be looked at, but you are bitching because you are not happy and yet the servers are full.
iGi, TG and some others are ALWAYS full and you need to sit and try over and over to get into them.
That doesn't sound like a mod that's losing players.
