I propose adding " noob & n00b " to the language censors on the servers.
You get one warning, then kicked for 1 min for excessive "noobage".

I guess you didn't see all those servers with more than twenty people, including three with fifty?
But yeah, banning it is a bad idea. I occasionally use it.

Your exits are located here
and here
Please, do feel free to use them at any time. If you really think that I am singling you out because you are better then me then your wrong. I kick anyone and everyone that I see teamswitching.

LOL! So what you're saying is, you're one of those annoying players who thinks they're better than everyone else, and deserve to get to play with their USMC toys, camping airport instead of time-out where they belong?
I'll look for your name next time I'm adminning.

I think just because noobs are 'good' at vBF2, they think they will be good at PR, but nope. Then you get "this game sucks" from them.

My first game of PR (in 0.3) I played for a couple minutes, and I was just blown away. "Oh my God! People actually stick together? Your SL is more than a mobile spawn point? There's actually somewhat defined lines of control? THIS GAME FREAKING ROCKS!" I loved PR. I was hooked. The first time I jumped off a building and the chute didn't open, I said "Oh sh!t, my chute didn't open" on VOIP, and someone told me "only spec ops guys have them". I said "oh". And that was that.
When 0.4 came out, I asked some squadmates on VOIP what happened to the support and sniper kits. They told me how to request. That was that.
I always played maturely, and when I had a problem, it was quickly squared away with VOIP.
So I don't think the "you were a noob just like that once" applies in many cases. I was a noob in the technical sense, but I didn't dabble in smacktardedy.

If you ask in chat, you will get a stupid answer half of the time since people ask like "OMG WHERE IS TEH SNIPER RIFLEZ" if you ask on VOIP you get a serious response 90% of the time.

maybe don't your squad name with noob, something like "starters", or "new to pr", "help inside" or whaterver that is more friendly
To all players that are new to this mod, be polite, don't worry about smacktards (they are everywhere), and just have fun, like I do

I done the chute thing after a long hiatus, I was sniper class spotting incoming enemies from the top of a crane with the bino's, got made and started drawing heavy fire, had a brain fart, jumped from the crane and hit the chute key...... splat.

Most of the new player questions are not really amusing to me nor are they that annoying. I don't get a laugh unless people start being ingnorant. I find it funny and sad all at once when people who have invested so little time in learning the mod have the arrogance to say "this mod sucks..." "..thats stupid, why cant I..." etc.
I find most of the time someone, myself included, are willing to answer questions regardless of the server. If however someone is being a jerk and demanding things or disrespecting PR I lose my ability to answer questions
On a side note, to the guy who said people don't want to read the Wiki and just want to play, I can understand that. I do it with every new release (I read the guide after a round or two) however it does not give me the right to **** all over PR because of my ignorance and laziness. I never expect anything in life to be given to me, it all requires a certain degree of effort
Cheers,

I must say that the general attitude of these forums and especialy this thread is sickaning. I have enjoyed playing every release of PR to date. I have not enjoyed this new found attitude of people playing the game. Everyone does realize this is a game on the internet? There is no need to be so god damn elitest.
People ask questions about how to do something and some of you tell them to go read a manual; that is retarded. They need to close the game go search the internet for a manual read the whole thing then go back into the game...yup thats quicker and easier than you just answering the question.
I think the problem is it used to be just one or two new people asking questions a week/month and now it is like 20 new people a week that all have questions. You guys just need to learn some patience and get off your soap box. You are nobody and this game means nothing.
The attitudes in game are much better than they are here on the forums so mabey I should just stop coming here to catch up on the buzz. Quite frankly I get turned off of playing by reading these boards.
