Yeah, what was up with that... The weapon wasn't even included in any multiplayer weapons type... Did you guys know that the TT33 is the real life counterpart of the DD44? I didn't even know until like 5 or 6 years ago...

@eggman and all Devs:
I'm sorry if I did sound demanding, that was not my intention.
I really appreciate the work of the team and am well aware that you do that without getting any reward.
I'm just worried about the balance, and I dont want you to rush it and work harder, I would be happy if you would keep the G3 for 0.7 too.

g3 with optics will rule, cant wait, and personally i dont care if im on usmc and mec have optics in teh first place because at the end of the day, if you get shot, its your own fault for not using cover or smoke. emeies having optics is not an excuse for a death.

Maybe they finally fixed the dang shotguns so us Engies can have some power in them Urban maps where we rise above the rest of our team and break out the boom sticks. That, and decided to let reality slip and give the shotgun multi-purpose munition that allows it to deal good damage at close range, no matter what kind of body armour the target has.
Too bad the Urban Engie doesn't have the good ol' Hook, I'd love to have it. Engineer should be a multipurpose support role, just not having Medical or Supply abilities. I know, they already have general Armour Maintenance, Close Anti-Armour, and Armour Defensive; but those are all very few opportune abilities that sometimes requires some guts to make that rush to slap a unit of C4 on that MBT tearing through or toss down those AT mines before the tank gets there, almost requiring you to do it while the thing is en route or else risk Team Killing either the reckless or Stupid. An omni-present Grappling Hook would expand their capablities as a Squad Member and Infantry Supporter rather than limiting them to the crazy HMV Driver (Me!) that rips those Chopper and Armour whores away from their spawning points to get them helping the front lines, in a squad with a armour minded squad members, or just the kind of person that likes to bring the buckshot to a fight with the backup of some C4 and AT Mines.

In closing, Hook for the Engineer = Team Play Booster 2 t3h m4x!

are ppl not allowed to criticize at all? every time someone says anything negative about anything you always reply with a "hey idiot, this is free". we all know this is free. you don't have to keep saying it over and over. people should still say what they like and what they don't like about it. that way, things can get fixed for the better. most ppl are just wondering why the g3 gets optics in this release and not the m16a4. maybe they think you can delay it a few extra days and get the optics in at the same time instead of making it even worse for the usmc soldiers. or maybe just leave the g3 how it is until you also get optics for the m16. either way do what you have to do, nobody can stop you. don't need to curse out your fan base.

Like it's somehow a conscious decision to have one faction's main assault rifle incomplete ?

This stuff is not criticism, it's thoughtless whining. And thoughtless whining is absolutely something I have little tolerance for. If people have thoughtful comments / ideas / feedback.. this is great stuff and is welcome on the forums.

But I've been playing games and using the internet since long before most of this community was born. And people seem to somehow adopt a mentality that the $50 game they bought 2 years ago .. which has had it's life extended by a bunch of folks for free .. that somehow we as developers "owe" something more than we already give.

And I am not in a position where I will get in trouble with the HR department for calling folks out on this immature bullshit.

It does not mater whether what you said was wrong or right becuase we owe Egg and every DEV that has ever inputed something into PR, however big or small. Egg and other DEVs have siad how they feel about some of the comments made, and there arnt many ways to repay the debt we owe to them, however one way is to repect there views, opinons and feelings, and in this case, it means SHUTTING THE HELL UP, please!

we are playing their modification. isn't that enough? that is what modders want, people to play their mods. this is EASILY the best mod for bf2, and i will continue to play it no matter what happens(unless i get banned for this thread?).

I saw that the officer for milita will get an SVD with 60 rounds. Is this the same gun the MEC marksman uses or is it different? New model, damage value, scope magnification. What helos do the Milita get? Maybe my new favorite faction
