Also in 0.5 in the top RH corner, it says Project Reality mini-mod
can I say get rid of the mini, there is nothing mini about a compressed 1.6GB download

Oh well, the video's sold the 5 hour download for me. It seems this time you've made the video more 'simple' than the 0.5 one by just using in-game and some slightly staged footage.

Dito, IMO the music and the scenes of the 0.5 promo video were better.

release the mod with the map pack a separate download or something?

Now i want to play PR again, and why do you want them to split it up? i like when its 1 large because then it can be downloaded over the night, if it were several pecies(cant spell it) then i had to wake up and start the next... well i can download them all at the same time but i still dont get the point of it.

one big file is quicker to download, less complicated and easier all round for ppl to install and use. only reason why FH split up there download was cos they made it so it could fit onto CDs, but with DVD these days able to hold 4gbs, 2gbs will only take 1/2 of that up if you cant do the maths.

use a download manager if you want resume support or something on it so you can do abit now, and abit later etc but i would download it all in one go.

I don't have any problem to download 1 big file (~2Gb), as told before it's easier than multiple smaller files. The torrent choice to spread the files is very fast.

We ran a poll on this a while back (but PR was still about 2gb large) and the large majority of people wanted a single download.

I would guess that v0.7 will weigh in about 2.2 to 2.5gb.

We are going to do some work over the next couple of releases to see how we can improve the efficiency of the mod as it relates to asset usage. Might improve things a little bit, but probably not much.

Torrents and download managers are the best thing to use. Sorry for folks who have download limits through their ISP .. but we are delivering a LOT of content in PR and there's no way around that ending up being large.

2.5GB isn't that much compared to a couple of movies a night..or a season of Dexter

(had a Dexter marathon, 8 ep. yesterday and 4 this morning)
