About the container ship..


How the hell did it get there?

and why?

Captured by militia's on midsea? With wooden boats going 10 knots? Naaah.

Just went there? Without any clue for it since vessels like that don't go to small harbours like that..

If it was a coaster.. okay.. but than he still would need some cranes.. cause.. how the hell can he discharge or load right there?!

It's just not realistyc that a ship like that can/wants to get there in my eyes..

there is a reason to place buildings like that, it simply looks better, because it prevents the ground floating into the building when looking at it from far away

Hey guys thanks for all the bug reports, i will be fixing all of them, didnt planed the secret entrance on that cave was not supose to happen =)
those lost lights were from houses that i deleted to change someting and forgot about them
The stairs were replaced already, i only noticed they were destructable when i got stuck at a baseament =/



Right now im puting ambient sounds on the map, and all that will be left to finish it will be lightmaps and more hidden weapon caches



Actualy about the ship, it is the reason Russia is there and is part of the fictional simple storyline that i created to make a insurgency mod for militia faction
Something along these lines:
A cargo ship that works for some transport company was carring some weapons along with other stuff, militia was able to get aboard while they were loading and hijacked the ship
Since they dont have the equipament to unload the containers, they took what they could and were planing to sink it at the big river
And then transport trough the florest to a safer place, they also took control of the local villages
2 Russian Spy's working secretly with the militia contacted the Russia army about the ship location, but they were caught as soon as the parachuters started to land, you might able to see what is left of them on the map...

Russia cannot allow more weapons on the hands of militia, and since the location of the ship cannot be easily reached by land, they had to launch an airborn assalt

Thats pretty awesome, just make sure you cant be seen from the enemy start location or itll be pretty annoying/ugly :) but it looks like youve got it worked out with the fog

I have to agree with the camo nets being placed on top of the wood platforms.

I also suggest that you place 2 planes instead of just one because 32 players spawning there and trying to jump is going to be messy. Maybe add one more plane a bit more to the West.

switch that barricade to the middle of the 2 doors because right now you can't go out unless it is destroyed.

And having another door in that mine exactly the same as the one on the entrance but that can't be blown up, looks a bit bad specially since you're not even half inside the mine so people will try and blow the door to see what's on the other side.

Nice sound effects.

are the ZPU's there to suggest there might be some Air Assets? (light helos/hind?) or just for crappy use in base defense? cause if it's base defense, wont those sandbags, kinda, make it so it can only go down so far?

The AA is to prevent russia from being able to get anywhere with the parachute

Looks great, cant wait to parachute out a plane man!!!!!
